I'm just not a fan of resting so many regular starters on the same day... 

Yelich, big deal, he just needs to start less in general.

Contreras needs a day here and there, I get that, but maybe not on a day that so many others are relegated to the bench.

Bauers is banged up.  Makes sense.

Mitchell neck issue.  Makes sense.

Pratt with a random day of rest.  Same with Contreras, rest him on a day when there aren't so many others resting.

I guess it isn't so much resting as just getting some guys healthier, but damn it, I want that top seed wrapped up and under the tree before we go into full on rest mode.

Disagree with this. Mainly because many wanted Corbin dealt when he struggled immensely during his first extended stint in the majors. You don't give up on young pitchers with TOR-type stuff. Especial

I don’t see how you can leave Stallings off the playoff roster. Who are you going to trust more to come into a game whenever and give you 9 outs when things go wrong and you don’t want to burn your power arms?

Stallings may not have the talent or pedigree of many Brewers prospects, but so far in 2026, he knows how to get outs at the major league level. That should count for something. He’s looked better than the trade deadline relievers.

It's awesome that we have like three other arms in the bullpen that we can stretch to 2-3 innings in close games. We haven't even needed to use Senzatela in that type of situation despite him being fully capable of it.

The asterisk is that it's been all low leverage. But in terms of his performance within the role he's been given, he's aced the test.

Agreed … but wouldn’t you say the recent outings by Harrison & Sproat were low leverage outings where they repeatedly failed miserably?

I think we're in alignment that Stallings has outperformed those two. I was more comparing him to the deadline relievers that are getting steady high leverage work. 

Meanwhile...not quite a punt game yet!

I'm disappointed too.  Not because they lost, but because they effectively lost Harrison.  Nobody else on our roster besides Miz and Henderson have the upside that Harrison has to matchup with the Dodgers starting pitching.  And i don't think Miz and Henderson will be enough.

I hope I'm wrong, but without Harrison this post season feels like it will be "same old same old"

Umm ... it's still a very winnable game.

Trust him more as opposed to what other options? Is he one of the top 12-13 options is the only question in my mind.
