This is so tiring at this point.    Leave him in there for 150 pitches.    I’d rather burn out this bum then Patrick or Ashby or hall.   Guys who are actually useful.

Jeez, I was fairly optimistic on May when they got him but quite the dud here as he can't be trusted in the playoffs.   Good stuff, get to our coaching staff and our infield D for sinker pitcher you think it would've been a good combo.

I guess you still might have to use him after a lefty opener or something to try and get 2ish innings out of him.  but really need a good outing from him next time out

They didn’t want just minor league players for Skubal. They wanted Logan Henderson,

I’d take ten consecutive 100 loss seasons for a championship.  Pretty much anything for one.  All the prospects all the major league talent. I don’t care.

Okay but there is no guaranteeing that no matter what you do. And given what Henderson has done giving him up in the deal wouldn’t have gotten us closer.

Agree it would be pointless to include Henderson, but I can’t believe we couldn’t match LA offer without Henderson

For sure.  I’m basically saying if we had to sell our soul for a guaranteed championship, then sign me up.

Our pitching is brutal right now after two guys

Gasser has been pretty good recently … more consistent than the others

Good work by Drohan to get out of the jam.

Playoffs rotation seems a bit up in the air now past Misiorowski and Henderson.

"Up in the air" is one way of putting it.

You think you can hurt me? I watch Wisconsin sports. You can't hurt me.

Yep.   He’s starting game three in my opinion

I doubt Mark A. would, though.

True, the CC deal didn’t yield a championship, but condos to the Brewers for trying.

Man I don’t know. Like I get it. It’s the ultimate goal and we’ve fallen short. To finally get it … just the thought is amazing of finally reaching the peak,

That said, having lived through the era where the Brewers did actually lose 100 games 10 years in a row (maybe not literally 100 every year, but close), it would be so hard to go back to that, to the time when the Brewers were just summer background noise, an MLB afterthought.

Being relevant every year, being in pennant races every year, is amazing. I guess it’s a journey versus destination argument.

Gasser vs whoever the Dodgers use for #3 will just be sad.

I’d rather win the championship.   Not give up all of our good players.   And then win more.

And pigs fly lol

We could have easily gotten Clay Holmes for the prospects we gave up.  Many on this board were asking for him..

I don’t think any of Arnold’s deadline trades have worked.  This year looks like a disaster

I wonder what the price was for Wacha, and if we were just too cheap because he's under contract next year.
