Interesting factoid my dad just told me:  Robin Yount got his 1,000th, 2,000th and 3,000th hits all vs Cleveland.

Wow.....there's a baseball trivia question.

Gantner?

I went to a double header vs the Red Sox at County Stadium where Gantner hit a walk off

If I’m the Brewers I’m very tempted to give DL Hall a start in the playoffs…….if they think they could get 3/4 innings out of him.

I guess…desperate times…

Gantner was later.  Molitor was 2 base when he first came up.  Later switched to third

Being pedantic guy - Molitor was SS in his one year in minors, and then did start at SS the first month of his rookie year as Yount was holding out in 78. I also always forget the Molitor as an OF experiment of 1981...

After the recent explosion the offense has taken a step back this week.

The pitching hasn’t been good enough to win with 3 runs.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Yup. Just a lame trade that made little sense at the time and has aged like a wet fart.

Like Weimar for Montas?

I don’t disagree that May and Romero have not  been impressive, but until the players they traded away actually do anything in the major leagues it’s really hyperbole to say the decision has gotten worse.
