Anyone going to Tampa?   We got 4 tickets for Game 4, but I stupidly didn't buy pre-paid parking... now it looks like parking is sold out  (yikes)...  Anyone have any insight about where else to park by the Stadium?

I would just Uber in. I almost always do that anyway if my hotel isn't walking distance. Sometimes uber 3/4 mile out to save the headache. In a game like this, I'd probably be heading to the stadium so early that traffic wouldn't matter.

I have Brewers in 7. This is like looking at ourselves in the mirror. We’re not going to be able to out-strategize these guys and a number of our strengths over LA are more like a wash vs. TB. We’ll need contributions for every roster spot.

In the end I think we can out pitch them and that will be the difference. I think we fall behind 2-1 in the series and then our depth wins us games 4-5.

Jake Woodford will be watching the World Series wondering if his ring will feature the Rays or Brewers logo.

He put up a negative WAR effort for both the Brewers and Rays this year.

I didn't know about this rule. It definitely diminishes the chance he gets a spot on the roster.

I would love to see Woody on the mound in a series clinching game (hopefully up by five runs). But I'm just not sure you can mess with what's worked the post-season, even if we haven't come close to using up our bullpen.

I guess in the end I'm gonna trust the team and their evaluation of Woody.

I get that they wouldn't want teams to abuse this situation with chronic injuries and just getting someone a WS appearance only to immediately swap them out with someone healthy.  But man, they gotta realize it's good for baseball to have Woodruff pitch if he's able and threatening the Brewers with not letting them replace him if he re-injures his shoulder seems like a lowball move.

Smart for us to ask ahead of time though so there are no surprises mid-series.

I feel for Woodruff. Dude has been absolutely grinding to even make this an actual possibility. He has basically nothing to gain pitching in the World Series from a personal standpoint. He can quietly go into the offseason and get a juicy one year deal from some team. Instead he is willing to risk pushing his way back to health at the risk any big injury could ruin his chances of pitching in 2027 and possibly his career.

Where in FL are you?  I will be back in Punta Gorda on Monday.  We are snowbirds and have a home in Green Bay.  We are heading back south Saturday morning.

If he pitches and the Brewers win it, wouldn't surprise me if he hung it up.

I live outside of Tampa, and will also be at game 4.  The stadium is sort of by itself, there isnt much around there.  Ive never had an issue parking so I didnt pay close attention to alternatives, but I vaguely remember parking areas outside the the official stadium parking.  Get there early and you should be able to figure something out.  Though if you are staying in St Pete, Uber might be the way to go, idk.
