Could have used more but the game is tied. Bullpen can pick him up like they did in the last series

The inability to put batters away after two strikes hurt against San Diego in not getting starter depth. Didn’t cost losses. But the Dodgers are a deeper lineup. So need to see some better results from Henderson and Gasser when they get to those counts.

Hate that pitch selection

The fastball wasn’t fooling anyone and he couldn’t land it where he wanted so had to go with something else.

Very disappointed in length

Just gave up one run. Things could've been a lot worse on a day he didn't have his best stuff. He did fine.

It’s a bummer, but we carried 13 pitchers that we trust for a reason. This is a team in every sense of the word,

I actually like the pen better anyways most times because you can play matchups with fresh arms

Yep. Brewers need to get the bats going or else it’s going to be last postseason all over again.

And that’s the best we can throw at them , nice Cy Young season, but not good enough. Hope he gets another crack at them

Miz getting out of the jam and grinding his way into the 5th was huge.  A lesser pitcher gets knocked out much much earlier.   Time to let the pen do its thing

And May only gave up two.

He wasn't "fine." He was below average by his own standards and couldn't find the zone but gutty enough to prevent us from losing the game. If he has another start like that, the off-season narrative will be that he wasn't very good in the playoffs. That was the kind of start you pray to get from Jhoulys Chacin.

Let’s be honest, Cy Young Miz has yet to show up to the playoffs

Cy Young Miz didn’t have to face the postseason Dodgers in every single game in the regular season.

I think he was missing some velo and zip on his fastball like he has in the postseason and some of his regular season starts, but I think you also have to take the opposition into account.

The end result was fine, we are still in the game.

However, we need and expect better to hang with a team like the Dodgers.

In the end, 1-1 is far better than being down 3-1, so I'll take it.
