I am not really shocked some thought this would be a useless trade like similar acquisitions are 9/10.

The actual steaming hawt takes related to Jake Bauers are the people that were begging to not start him this postseason or want to pinch hit for him.

Our outfield is fun to watch. They are all fast, seem to always be in the right spot, and can make diving or leaping catches at will. Having both Lara and Sal as options out in right is great regardless who is in.

Cooper silently had a great game. 3 hits, a stolen base that led to a run. Good to see Joey get a hit late too after looking terrible all playoffs so far.

How about Gasser man? Him and Hall coming on late has completely changed the vibe and look of this team and pitching staff as a whole. It wasn't flashy with the big K numbers like Snell, but he out performed him. Amazing job.

There are so many things that could have altered where we are. The fresh two for me:

Sanchez making the final out against SD

Smith's double clearing the fence, we are likely 2-1 right now.

This will be Drohan's first post-season appearance, right? He, Patrick and Harrison are the lone arms who have not slung the white rat if my old addled brain recalls correctly? I hope we get a well rested and recharged Shane so we get that random 0-to-1 run 3 IP Drohan performance and not the standard 3-to-6 runs he allowed in 7-of-17 outings since July 1st .😬

Yeah, I agree. It was a big mistake that I hope he learns from and it ultimately did not impact the result of the game, fortunately. Both of those things can be true. 

I think he might have it figured out when he kept DL in for the 8th, instead of pitching Ashby in the 7th and 8th.
