Josh,

It's hard to see players that you watch come up through the system leave. I, for one, while happy that we landed Greinke, am sad to see Jefress and Cain leave. I was looking forward to them being big contributors in years to come. I wish them nothing but the best and look forward to following them in the future.

That's a good read. If I haven't said so already, Josh, please send my best wishes to Lo & JJ. I'll definitely be rooting for them even as Royals.

Josh, congrats on the signing. Any comments on what he'll bring to the organization and what we can expect?

He's probably the best athlete they drafted, he's raw definitely a 2 year rookieball guy but he turned down a free ride to stetson to sign. He's a plus defender and he just has to keep getting baseball experience but he has a chance to be a good one.

Josh, if he's very raw and athletic, might I suggest giving him some statistical data to show that MLB teams are valuing batting eye and plate discipline more than ever. It can drive us crazy as fans that these guys often think hitting is the only way to the big leagues, when defense and OBP are often just as important as AVG and SLG

Well, he's got at least half of it down, then: "He can play pro at 3B right now on defence."

Because I for some odd, strange reason believe the rookie ball coaches will go over the importance of all that stuff and personally work with him on it, I suggest Josh does what he normally does as a experienced and professional baseball agent. Tell him congrats, enjoy this moment, and get ready to work hard to make your dreams come true. I hardly doubt Jalen is coming into this say I hate defense and to walk walk, all I want to do is hit homeruns.

Congrats Josh to you and Jalen! Hope it works out for the best and thanks for posting!

understood YoungGeezy, but I always figure it never hurts to talk about the financial side of how teams now are paying more for OBP than ever before.

oh and for whatever its worth Angel Salome signed with seattle and Alex Periard is on the verge of going there as well.

Jack Z loves his ex Brewer farm hands.

Well, he drafted them for a reason...

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

This was reported awhile ago but Salome has yet to play. Do you know when, where, and at what position he will begin playing?

Finally got another Brewer up to the big leagues. Taylor deserves it. Also Salome is catching full time for seattle now while Periard is rehabbing in sea.

Josh, please tell Lo that Brewers fans are excited for him & his opportunity in KC this coming season. I hope he shreds AL pitching!
