Is it better to pull a pitcher you know doesn't have his stuff in the 2nd inning and try to win that game with the pen, or let him throw said game away and try not to burn your pen as much?

Depends on how fresh the pen is and who is pitching the next game.

 

1. Bullpen had Obermueller and JDLR fresh.

2. Davis pitching next game.

 

So in this situation if I were Ned Yost I would have gone to the pen early.
