i used to be a yost fan, and I'm not anymore, but I had these signed by him over the last few years, it's sad that things didn't work out.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I killed them. I killed them all. They're dead, every single one of them. And not just the men, but the women and the children, too. They're like animals, and I slaughtered them like animals. I HATE THEM!

yea, sorry. That one got a little heavy. Guess the biggest reason to admit I have a problem is that I still love the pics! http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/embarassed.gif

bacon06, I love that picture of Starks. I remember watching that game and going from very depressed to very happy.

I was about to comment on it as well. Considering what was at stake, the play was pretty remarkable. Not that there is a cause and effect relationship, but consider:

Before play: Purdue ranked #5 in the nation, Kyle Orton is a Heisman trophy candidate.

After play: Purdue proceeds to tank and ends up losing in Sun Bowl, and has been irrelevant ever since. Kyle Orton fades from Heisman race and is now a 3rd string QB behind Rex Grossman.

Ok, those were some cheap shots. Back on topic..

(I don't know how to quote)

Anyway, on that topic, that game was great - I was watching it in my friend's basement, and it was ridiculous, but if you want cheap shots, you should have read the comments from Erasmus James in an SI article later that year.

It went something like this - "before the game, Kyle Orton was on everybody's Heisman list. Now he's on my highlight reel."

I remember loving that one.

On topic, if we win tonight, I expect some awesome pics of everybody's favorite 80's singer.

Good work on the D reference. I love it.

I think Mark Jones had the call for ESPN that game. Normally I think he's annoying but he had a great call after that play - "A CATACLYSMIC turn of events!!!"

And then I think he had the UW, Minny game the next year where UW blocked that punt to win.

I am hoping that the Brewers do to the Cubs what the Badgers did to Purdue that fateful evening.http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif
