Why wouldn't they call him up?

 

WE know he'll be up within 1-2 years if he's any good... and there's time between the end of Huntsville's Playoffs and the AFL.

 

Why not let him get some at bast against Major Leaguers to tune him for the AFL?

Weeks was also already on the 40 man roster. Why not bring him up? Because he could pull a Hardy and miss a full season with injury and take another full season to recover and boom two options are lost.

The way Braun's progressing, I don't think running out of options will be an issue, but I understand your point.

Agreed, Brian. I think it is very likely that by Opening Day 2007, Braun will have forced Hall into becoming the every day center fielder.
