Yeah, he does sort of play Clint Eastwood being Clint Eastwood, but that is the usual with him. I didn't think the novice actors were that bad, and I like the idea of casting more with an eye toward authenticity like that. And I loved the ending.
Well, the Bon Iver album was a physical release in 2007. Truth. I actually saw someone sold one on eBay last week for $300. Too bad I played mine about 500 times, though I wouldn't sell it anyway.
I would say he has a pretty good fastball in terms of both velocity and movement. His slider is decent as well. Isn't Ben Sheets pretty much a two pitch pitcher? Yeah he is, but he throws mid 90's and has one of the best curveballs in the league. Sheets is an exception as far as two pitch guys - Looper isn't even in his league. I guess I am in the same camp as Patrick on this, and I don't think Looper is much of an addition.
As long as I still have my Ron & Fez, I am fine with it... I don't even listen to anything else anymore. I guess I just was annoyed by the Home Plate channel when I did listen to it way back when. I wish they had more hosts with a statistical bent - like Jeff Erickson with his fantasy show.
The thing that had me laughing the most was when that guy came into buy the Princess Unicorn and just put his hand on his forehead with his index finger pointing up.
