  1. Green has a wrist injury, though, and I would be leery to make plans on him at this time because of that.
  2. That is great. Loved him when he was with the Brewers.
  3. I miss Bill Bavasi!!!
  4. What is the point of this now? This is going to be the storyline for the entire season. Ugh.
  5. He was a bust a month after he was drafted, it seems.
  6. He was a bust a month after he was drafted, it seems.
  7. Revolutionary Road Frozen River The Wrestler Gran Torino Frost/Nixon Wendy and Lucy
  8. Yeah, he does sort of play Clint Eastwood being Clint Eastwood, but that is the usual with him. I didn't think the novice actors were that bad, and I like the idea of casting more with an eye toward authenticity like that. And I loved the ending.
  9. I just watched Gran Torino... wow.
  10. Well, the Bon Iver album was a physical release in 2007. Truth. I actually saw someone sold one on eBay last week for $300. Too bad I played mine about 500 times, though I wouldn't sell it anyway.
  11. I would say he has a pretty good fastball in terms of both velocity and movement. His slider is decent as well. Isn't Ben Sheets pretty much a two pitch pitcher? Yeah he is, but he throws mid 90's and has one of the best curveballs in the league. Sheets is an exception as far as two pitch guys - Looper isn't even in his league. I guess I am in the same camp as Patrick on this, and I don't think Looper is much of an addition.
  12. Right, because he is a two pitch guy, and neither of those pitches are great.
  13. Yeah, but he has only been a successful starter there. And they are signing him to start, obviously.
  14. I am leery of signing guys that Dave Duncan and LaRussa turned into good pitchers. I think he will go straight downhill when he leaves St. Louis.
  15. Haha. Somehow when I saw it was clancy, I just KNEW this was Gary Glover. The G-Love ship has sailed, I think.
  16. As long as I still have my Ron & Fez, I am fine with it... I don't even listen to anything else anymore. I guess I just was annoyed by the Home Plate channel when I did listen to it way back when. I wish they had more hosts with a statistical bent - like Jeff Erickson with his fantasy show.
  17. Unreal... two weeks in a row my Madison travel plans are destroyed. I hate WI.
  18. The thing that had me laughing the most was when that guy came into buy the Princess Unicorn and just put his hand on his forehead with his index finger pointing up.
  19. I think Igawa's stuff is just poor. I think he is kind of a AAAA guy.
  20. I think when he was smoking the hookah was hilarious, too.
  21. This is destined to not end well at all.
  22. At least the Nard Dog killed on the sitar, as you would expect.
  23. Well, it would be cool if they opened it up. If he wants out that badly, then he can get out easily by doing that.
  24. I actually don't mind any of the names on that list. It would be nice to sign a couple, and create a little depth.
