    Diamond Baseball Holdings owns the club. The aforementioned Rob Z (Rob Zerjav) and his ownership group sold it to them last spring if I remember correctly. Rob was retained as the president and the whole staff stayed on.. I think Diamond Baseball owns like 25 clubs around the minor leagues or something like that..

    Re: the Trats stadium... Here are 4 attached photos. The obvious first place to add significant seating are both grass sections along the lines. Conservatively you could add two more sections to each side and still have a small grass section for families. 3 sections per side if you replace all of it. The other space on the property where there is a lot of room for imagination is out beyond left field. You can see how far the property expands behind the stadium. A left field bleacher set is more than viable in my opinion. It is a little wet back there so I'm sure the permits and logistics will be of concern but there's a lot of room back there to utilize. There are a few areas where premium seating could be added if more of that is needed.. mainly behind home plate. I think a small upper deck could be extended out from the Fox club to create suites. I added a photo beyond right field just to show but it is basically a marsh back there and highway 41 is looming so I'm guessing expansion that way might not be in the cards.

    Cubs are in a pitching bind. They lost Cabrera last night for awhile (he would have thrown against us for sure this weekend) and have a double header today with two TBA starters (the Cubs Reddit boards yesterday were saying they have no idea who will throw today). They play then again tomorrow while we rest. Really good opportunity for us to take care of business against those hot dogs this weekend.

    The lockout looms though :( If he gets called up for a week and then MLB locks the players out he cannot play next year because he is a part of the union. If he stays off the 40man he can play a full minor league season next year. I just can't see the Brewers wasting a year of development for Made, Fischer, Burke, etc unless they need them to help win a ring this year. Otherwise, why risk it?

    I understand what is likely to happen in about 35 minutes... but I have very much enjoyed the Roger Clemens impersonation Sproat has given us through 2 innings.

    Frias' first Single A at bat was a bases loaded RBI fielder's choice. He promptly stole 2nd. As I'm typing this Ebel just hit one out. 2-2 on the day for him. His arrow is pointing up.... We have so many good shortstops in the system it's hysterical.

    Cooper's nice start with the big league club does leave me intrigued about Jett. Both guys started slow, had a hot streak, then slowed up a bit again in AAA... Jett more than Pratt. But Pratt seems fine thus far handling big league pitching. Some guys are just gamers and better competition brings out the best in them. I see it a lot with Blake Burke and a little with Fischer, too. I have no way to predict it but I wonder how Jett would rise to the occasion if and when he gets his chance and I have a small hunch he will be a 'gamer' in this sense as well.

    That would be an amazing issue to have to deal with. Given our luck this year ... more DL stints are incoming and we will need everyone. I hope not though. If Gasser and Sproat end up getting starts in AAA that will mean good health up top and that would be a welcomed change.

    I have no idea if there is a psychological effect for some guys when they hit in front of the run producers that they try and take more pitches vs being in a run producing spot and free swinging, etc While Chourio has thrived in the 2 spot - Yeli and Turang have regressed since being flipped (willing to be fact checked on that). An order of Turang, Chourio, Yeli, Contreras, Bauers just feels better to me? Flip Bauers and Yeli if we need to... that would be fine too. Anyone else?

    I know this isn't the first time this has been talked about but I would be curious how he would do if he slid into the Drohan/Patrick role with them. I feel like his stuff would pair well as a follow to Gasser.

    I wonder if we can find a trade back partner for one of our top 2 for a later 1st and a future pick or two. OKC has a million picks in the future.... Maybe they want to bump up from 17 and throw us some good fortune.
