  1. The Brewers have some. Gasser has looked better as of late. Carlos F. Rodriguez has looked good in AA along with Justin Jarvis. Anything beyond A ball is too hard to predict.
  2. Instead of Burnes and Urias to the Orioles maybe just Peralta to the Orioles. Something like Mayo (1B), Norby (2B) and comp balance pick (63). I think that is something the Orioles would be extremely interested in. Peralta is signed to a very team friendly deal and the Orioles are a cheap organization. So trading for someone like Peralta probably makes more sense than trading for someone like Burnes.
  3. I think the Rays would and it is because Peralta is at such an affordable price tag for the next few years. It means they can deal Glasnow in the off season.
  4. That is in AAA and you want to use PA's and not AB's otherwise you are subtracting a positive outcome for a hitter walk or HBP which doesn't record an AB. Also you would expect the K rate to increase in MLB versus in AAA. Tellez had a better K% in AAA than Westburg does. Their career stats in the minors are also very similar.
  5. The only other SS on the market would be Tim Anderson and he isn't having all that great of a season either. If the Brewers and White Sox continue to play poorly and sink then Anderson and Adames will be the 1a and 1b options at SS. Maybe the Tigers will put Baez out there but they would have to eat part of his salary to trade him. While Adames has been hitting poorly I think there is enough that he is hitting into more bad luck and he should turn it around. One interesting thing on Adames is that he is seeing more breaking and off speed pitches this year. Adames is only seeing 51% of the pitches as fastballs compared to about 54% career. Also his K% is down and his BB% are up this year. Maybe he isn't being aggressive enough at the plate? Adames is an enigma right now he should be hitting better than he is.
  6. Westburg is a high K type of a hitter so expect 200+ K's a season from him. He is more of a power hitter and probably is closer to what Tellez is right now. I think Tellez is basically the ceiling for Westburg.
  7. How about Peralta to the Rays? Something like Manzardo, comp pick and Colmenarez. Then trade Burnes and Urias to the Orioles for: Mayo (1B), Ortiz (SS), Povich (LHP) and Beavers (OF). Then Adames to the Dodgers for: Frasso (RHP), Nastrini (RHP) and Vivas (2B/3B) That would give the Brewers a shot in the arm with some youth on the team. Povich, Frasso and Nastrini give the Brewers enough shots at a possible pitcher becoming good. 2024 will suck pitching wise with only Woodruff coming back but the Brewers will have a bunch of positional players ready to play on the MLB team in 2024 and some on the same trajectory for making it to the MLB team when Chourio would be. Another possible trade Williams to the Marlins for Meyer (RHP), Eder (LHP) and comp pick. If the Brewers get the Rays and Marlins comp pick that gives the Brewers the 31st and 35th pick in the draft. The Brewers would then have 18, 31, 33 and 35 which should allow them to get the players they want in this years draft. If anyone falls or if there is a signing concern the Brewers would have more than enough to go over and not even worry about it.
  8. The only thing it has handcuffed is the owners not making as big of a profit on the team for the year. Getting below the 2nd line doesn't help the Bucks get a FA or two.
  9. Right and he isn’t good enough in the low post either to be someone who posts up.
  10. That was a completely different GM I believe and it would be rather stupid to not do a trade with another team because you had a bad trade in the past.

Michigan and Penn State being the only two hard games everything else is extremely soft.
  12. Dalvin Cook to be released. https://www.nfl.com/news/vikings-to-release-rb-dalvin-cook-after-six-seasons Vikings will save about $9m in cap space with this move. There is still a possibility a trade maybe worked out but very unlikely.
  13. Middleton had minor knee surgery: https://www.jsonline.com/story/sports/nba/bucks/2023/06/08/milwaukee-bucks-all-star-khris-middleton-had-right-knee-surgery-after-nba-playoffs/70302028007/ I wonder if he will be opting in instead of out now?
  14. I am always up for getting a referral bonus if you let me know what your expertise is I can do a recommendation at my company for a job in your expertise.
  15. Shane Bieber may become available during the deadline and that is a possible player who could bring as much value as Burnes does. So there really isn’t no one. Wheeler could also become available if the Phillies continue to struggle.
  16. Over an hour late on my lunch order and I get a $1.90 refund for wings. Will never order from WingZone ever again.
  17. Majority of scouts don’t see him as a pitcher and see him as a RF. His athleticism would be wasted at 1B.
  18. Urias activated Brosseau to Nashville. Ruf to 60-day IL.
  19. Exit velocity + launch angle is far more telling. If you have a high exit velocity and a very low launch angle that wouldn’t be good as that is a lot of ground balls. Same could be true for an extremely high launch angle though most of those are going to go for extra base hits. Exit velocity tells us how good the batter hit the ball and launch angle helps to determine the success or perceived success of that exit velocity. I believe a 14-20 degree launch angle is what you want to see.
  20. I think with the new rules the Mets 1st pick will again be in the Comp A pick even if they finish under .500 this year.
  21. The NL East is starting to compete with the NL Central in being bad. The Braves are the only good team in that division everyone else are just a whole mess.
  22. Unlikely as Burnes has been trending downwards for about a year now. The only saving grace for the Brewers this deadline is that the best pitcher available right now is Eduardo Rodriguez. I don't believe the Angels will trade Ohtani. Bieber could also be available at the deadline who has also won a Cy Young.
  23. Couldn't you also just do a pitcher infuser? Would be cheaper as all you would have to do is buy some sugar and cut up the lemons and place in the infuser. If lemons get expensive switch to limes or other fruit that are less expensive.
  24. You missed one in CJ Kayfus but he is more likely to be a day 2 pick than a day 1 pick. Power wise is the question for Kayfus but he can absolutely hit. Kayfus is comparable to Votto where he will put up high average and high OBP but won't hit a ton of HR's. He does have advanced strike zone skills and won't chase all that much. He is currently sitting at a 1:1 BB:K. If you don't like strikeouts then Kayfus is someone you will like.
  25. Dalvin Cook to be traded today? https://bleacherreport.com/articles/10077499-dalvin-cook-rumors-teams-believe-vikings-will-trade-or-release-rb-amid-dolphins-buzz
