  1. When has a Freshman QB ever been ready?
  2. They were bad. Name a QB after Mertz that PC recruited. Then look at who was going to be the QB in 2023. Not only the QB but the OL was absolutely putrid. PC turned that from one of the best to one of the worst. The OL play started to die under PC there is no denying this and it is not PC derangement. Look at the 2021-2022 offensive lines for proof. I will exclude 2020 during the COVID years but that was another bad OL. Bostad couldn’t even fix those OL’s.
  3. If you are talking about his recruiting then next year is the starting year to tell what his recruits are doing. His first full recruiting cycle was in 2024. The first class would be the 2023 class but that still had some PC recruits in it. The 2024 team was all his recruits. The best recruit they got in the 2024 class is injured in Kevin Heywood and Xavier Lucas left for more money from Miami. For the 2025 recruiting class hopefully the Badgers have their starting QB in Carter Smith. It is probably a year too early for Logan Powell and Hardy Watts to be starting next year on the OL. If Heywood gets healthy and if Powell and Watts are ready to start next year then that OL will show a huge improvement over the current OL. Defensively the Badgers are still short on the DB side of things IMHO. On the DL it should be a great year for the Badgers in 2026 with Clayton and Williams possibly starting and Ernest Willor should also be starting on the DL. Then you also have Posa at LB. On the offensive side the Badgers may get a freshman who can start at WR in Jayden Petit. The Badgers will get a big loss in losing Latimer at RB as it looks like he will be going to Ohio State. Ohio State has 0 RB's in the 2026 class and it is possible Latimer could start for them as a freshman. I am not sure the Badgers will be able to offer him the same plus the NIL money he will likely get from Ohio State will be better than at WI.
  4. You will at some point. The way the cable companies are going it is going to look more like the streaming services. Get ready to start using the app. You probably have another five or so years but at some point cable will be switching.
  5. It could also be another team contacted the Brewers to interview for a position and then blocked it by moving him to a higher position. This is normal within MLB.
  6. I think some are overlooking how bad the team was heading under Chryst. The Badgers basically had no QB and no RB recruits coming in and that wall everyone was talking about in WI was already crumbling down under Chryst. Mertz was transferring no matter who was going to be the HC. 2023 would have had a starting QB of Howe or Burkett. That would have been a disaster. Not to mention the OL was absolutely horrendous with no signs of any improvement. Defensively the team started to slip. The lack of recruiting and the lack of effort there by the HC really killed an elite defense. Leonard also needs to take some blame here on the recruiting side. There was only a few people at WI who were really trying and interested in recruiting PC and JL were not.
  7. I don’t see how a trade for Wood wouldn’t include Made in it. I think Made, Pratt and others is more realistic.
  8. Giannis to quit the Bucks and play for Marquette!
  9. Grow your hair longer and thicker? Get a wig? Serious answer try what they are suggesting in this Reddit:
  10. Donovan makes a lot of sense but the Cardinals won’t trade within the division.
  11. The Athletic has Monken as the best fit for the HC at Wisconsin. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6758442/2025/10/29/james-franklin-lane-kiffin-coaching-fits/?source=user_shared_article What are James Franklin, Lane Kiffin and others’ perfect coaching fits?
  12. To be fair even if the Brewers could afford him they probably still have no shot at any of these Japanese players. The Bucks drafted a Chinese player one time and he had no interest in playing for the Bucks. It took a lot to convince him to actually come and play for the Bucks. For players in Japan it is Chicago, Seattle, LA and New York that are the popular places for them to play. If a team like the Brewers gave them a lot of money maybe they come but Toronto tried that with Ohtani and he took a deal with the Dodgers instead. A player who has no choice but to sign with a team in an undesirable location will do it if they have no choice but I doubt they stay long term.
  13. Carlos Gomez was considered a problem player and he turned out to be not a problem. Carlos Gomez is probably a good comparison to Cruz. I am not sure 3B is a good place to put Cruz defensively. Probably the best spot is LF or DH.
  14. Energy sector will have to expand as the current grid is not efficient enough for EV’s and data centers. Which means more investment into nuclear and other energy plants. This then leads to more construction. There are already billions being spent on creating the data centers throughout the US. This is already creating jobs in the construction industry. The economy is not as bad as it is being made out to be. Job wise yeah it sucks but economically it is good. The economy is in a strong spot right now. There will always be issues in the job market depending on whatever industry is seeing issues. As a whole the economy is looking strong. The mortgage rate isn’t really the problem right now as it is sitting just over 6% for a 30-year. The problem is the price of the houses depending on the market. Some markets are seeing drops but not enough
  15. No the US Navy would not. The Chinese navy is mostly made up of coast guard like ships. Check the tonnage of the US Navy versus the Chinese Navy. They are not even close. US Navy is about 3.5 million tonnage versus China at about 2 million tonnage. The 2 million includes the Chinese coast guard. Don’t underestimate what a dictator will or won’t do. Case in point Putin basically destroying Russia’s economy and is continuing to do so with no end in sight. I said it will seriously hurt. I don’t need to go into the exact details but an economic crash would be under the seriously hurt category.
  16. Andre Jackson is probably more likely to be released. Not really losing much by getting rid of him.
  17. This is not true. The precious metals sector is doing good. The energy sector is also seeing growth and will continue to see growth with the increase in data centers across the US. Precious metals will continue to grow with EV’s and advanced computing (AI, data centers and quantum computing). There is still some room to grow in the EV sector but that is shrinking. Another industry that will be seeing growth over the next 10-15 years is quantum computing. Fintech is also seeing a lot of growth. Pharmaceutical and healthcare in general are seeing growth as well. Overall the economy is not in that bad of shape for now. Ask this again towards the end of 2026 and it will all have to deal with China and Taiwan. 2027 is the mandate to be ready for taking Taiwan either by force or otherwise. A major war would seriously hurt the world economy even if the majority of Europe doesn’t take part in this. Major players in this possible war would be China, North Korea, South Korea, Australia, Japan and the United States. Other smaller countries like the Philippines and Vietnam would also be impacted. Hard to see Europe helping here with their hands tied with Russia and Ukraine. Best case scenario China just continues to saber rattle and nothing comes of this. Worst case and there is a serious regional war. I don’t see China winning this but economically this will be a huge blow.
  18. AI is a broad term like plants. Are you talking about trees, shrubs or ????? I wish I only have to write one email per day. But since I am in a highly regulated profession it is mostly emails all day everyday.
  19. In the banking world it is being used to detect fraud. Far easier for AI to sift through hundreds of thousands of transactions every day than it is for a human. Even the applications that are running now struggle with this. The fear of AI taking a lot of jobs is the same as the robotics fear. Some jobs will be eliminated and some created. Basic jobs will go away but more technical jobs and ones that need human input and interaction with won’t be as impacted. Also LLM’s get mixed up with AI. I use a LLM for nearly everything now mostly for emails. I don’t have to spend hours a day reading or crafting replies to emails now. The LLM can sift through it and give me a summary and I can put in a summary of what I want to respond and it will craft the email for me. Though my LLM has a lot of India words like kindly that I have to get rid of or tell it not to use.
  20. Yes it is only 4 games but the stats are concerning hence why I was asking if he has looked as bad as his stats were saying.
  21. I haven’t been able to watch any of the games but is Turner playing as bad as his stats are? If he is then he is looking like another bad Bucks FA signing.
  22. Contreras arbitration number probably comes in around $11-14mm. There is a possibility that the Brewers will have to pay more in arbitration. Even if it comes in at the lower level of $11mm there is not that much of a difference between $11mm and $12mm for the following year’s arbitration number. So not really a future savings.
  23. I use this and it seems to help with this issue when I clean my car. https://stonercarcare.com/products/invisible-glass-reach-clean-tool?srsltid=AfmBOoqfjsHlorehEDQ39ThsAIBtKJBJ0wFBY8M4P1qfcTlvFwlSfuNU Though I wrap a towel around the tool instead of using the provided pad they have.
  24. The problem here with PC was these were not even plays you would call risky, they were just your run of the mill plays. For whatever reason PC either just gave up on running a competent offense or the stresses of the HC job got to him and he became a shell of the offensive play caller that he was. It was the simple things like putting people in motion or slightly moving the TE around where he just absolutely failed. If it wasn't for Allen and Taylor I am not sure PC would have had the record he had. Allen probably killed everything that he wanted to run more than Taylor as Allen was a between the tackles runner and that was it for him. He just wasn't elusive enough to bounce plays or to run a counter. The burst of speed just wasn't there for him to run those plays. Even with that it doesn't explain why he never moved the WR's or the TE's around. Even moving the TE from one side to the next was a no no. PC a good to great offensive coordinator but an absolutely horrible HC even with the record that he had.
