  1. Yup. Bishop Letson (11th round) $482,600 Bjorn Johnson (12th round) $420,500 Hayden Robinson (14th round) $347,500 Josh Adamczewski (15th round) $252,500 Justin Chambers (20th round) $547,500 Letson has a 3.02 ERA / 4.48 FIP in Carolina, Robinson had a 2.41 ERA / 3.14 FIP in the ACL before injury, Adamczewski has a 145 wRC+ in the ACL, Chambers was traded for Bryan Hudson. Pretty good hit rate so far in the early going.
  2. Looks like Dinges is on the younger side for a college draftee, doesn't turn 21 until September. Hit 323/415/583 at FSU with 38 BB / 37 K this past year.
  3. Haha. just saw three of the four went off the board shortly after the Brewers pick. Looks like Brink is still out there, though with the pace these picks are coming in at now he might be gone by the time I hit Submit Reply.
  4. Reading through the scouting reports for undrafted players remaining on the FanGraphs board Sinnard and Eagen both sounded like Brewers kind of picks to me.
  5. 5.5 game lead on the Cardinals with the tiebreaker. 2.0 games back from the first round bye with the tiebreaker.
  6. I don’t believe I posted an opinion in the entire thread. Your posts displayed a fundamental misunderstanding of how MLB teams (not just the Brewers) approach the draft & accompanying bonus pool system.
  7. Were you asking questions or stating your opinions as facts?
  8. Every team in MLB manipulates their bonus pool by taking low dollar signs earlier than projected by the “experts” to go over slot with later picks. The guy the Phillies picked in the first round wasn’t on the MLB or FanGraphs Top 100
  9. Payne (17.9) tied for 2nd youngest on FG Top 100. Meccage (18.3) tied for 12th. Levonias (18.4) tied for 15th. Didn’t click on the individual birthdays but that is 3 of the 17 youngest players on their board.
  10. Cooper Pratt, drafted over slot last year at #182 with money saved by going under slot on earlier picks, just played in the Futures Game and cracked MLB Pipeline’s Top 100.
  11. Each teams draft pool is predetermined by MLB based on the number and position of their selections Pretty sure the Brewers have spent their draft pool every year since the system was instituted. The Major League roster is a whole different line item.
  12. Some speculation from Longenhagen in the FG chat.., “Sloan's number was big, like 4 mil (heard this today) so I'm not sure anyone will take him unless it's MIL in the comp“
  13. No doubt. The Brewers front office knows way more than I do, so I’m just going to sit back and enjoy.
  14. Smith and Jurrangelo supposedly going to CHC and SEA so would only have to get past MIA at that point.
  15. Longenhagen hearing he might not make it past BOS at #12 in the FanGraphs chat.
