If the Brewers do end up keeping Vargas all year, that's where I think he'll end up. If Villanueva pitches well in AAA, there just won't be room for Vargas in the rotation. The only reason Villanueva is the odd man out is because of options. -
Hart doesn't have the plate discipline that Cameron has yet. Plus he probably has more power than Cameron. I'd prefer Braun or Fielder hitting second, but after that my preference would be Cameron second and Hart fifth. To be clear, I don't want Braun second because of his plate discipline (he has even less than Hart at this point). I just think if you are going to hit Kendall eighth, it makes sense to move Fielder and Braun up a spot.

I think I'd rather face Georgetown. I think the Badgers would have beaten the Hoyas. Now instead they're the "big favorite." Curry scares me a lot.

Marquette is quite good, actually. They played very well tonight. I think they're a top 15 team, top 20 for sure. Badgers look outstanding right now.

K-State just proving that they should not have been an 11 seed. Also Duke got calls again down the stretch. Paulus was clearly out of bound on his "save," and he was also hand-checking like crazy on Belmont's possession prior to the missed lob.

Flowers was way too pumped up. Butch and Landry were pretty calm, but the guards need to get settled down. Just take it easy in the second half and they'll be fine.

I thought hard about it, and then filled it out. I had four number one seeds in the Final Four. I know this won't happen, and I don't have those four teams as my top four, but I think the brackets are arranged in such a way that those four teams are each the best in their region. I simmered on it some more and realized I can't possibly keep four number ones in. I had to pick an upset somewhere... So I ended up taking Washington State in the East. I really hate choosing a team for the final four when they have a very real chance of losing in the second round. I will be extremely angry with myself if Wazzu loses to Notre Dame. But, what the heck. Now I'll just be rooting for UNC to lose to *somebody*, which is something I don't mind doing at all.

So what are some games people are looking forward to? I always like watching how the year's top mid-majors match up against bigger conference schools. This year in particular I am anxious to see how Drake and Davidson play. I've seen a few people take Davidson for the Sweet 16. Some good second round match-ups potentially as well. Pitt-MSU have similar styles. Marquette-Stanford would be pretty contrasting styles, and Xavier-Purdue would be a good game too.

The Brewers are already short quality left handed bats. Gross is the type of player the Brewers should be looking to add rather than deal away.

Except now how many of us will cease to even exist? Anyway, I have to think at least half the teams would claim Capuano. Many are hurting pretty badly for starting pitching, so they'd be all over a lefty with Capuano's history.
