Deep bump from August 2023.
With their win on June 1 over the White Sox, the Brewers moved to 12 games over for the season, and, for the first time since September 29, 2001, got back to 200 games under .500 for the history of the franchise. As of today, still 12 games over, they stand at 4190-4390. Surprising they lost that 2001 game to the Rockies that day (14-12), when they were able to throw pitchers such as Mac Suzuki, Jimmy Haynes, Mike Buddie and Gus Gandarillas(?!) at Coors.
Since 2005, when Attanasio took over, they are 1574-1469. 105 cheap-ass wins over .500. Up next: 150 games under. That's just two 97-win seasons away (give or take).
