  1. Brewers simply need a starter to come out and throw 7 shutout innings. Save the bullpen and give the suddenly ice cold offense some breathing room. 19 in 18 with our starters barely going 5 innings and offense not scoring has our bullpen running on fumes.
  2. 5 game division lead. We have ourselves a division race. Thank goodness they won the must win closer of the Cubs series or it would be a 3 game lead.
  3. Kind of shocked the roof is half closed.
  4. Also I'll say it again. Tobias is not full stretched out. He hasn't had a fully stretched out start since the 4th of July. Patrick is actually stretched out.
  5. I'd feel better if the Brewers didn't have 9 more games until an off day with their pitching depth looking in shambles and a very tired bullpen.
  6. Brewers SP have been very underwhelming in the first 10 games of this 19 and 18 stretch. Only 4 of the 10 starts have gotten an out in the 6th inning and 2 of those 4 only got 1 out. Our starts are putting our relievers in a pretty awful spot. IP by our SP in each game 1.1 5.1 6.1 6 5 4.1 4 4.1 5.1 5
  7. No that's not true. If you're the 27th man for a doubleheader then that rule doesn't apply.
  8. Well he also got a BB in the 1st inning as well
  9. I'm thinking Jeferson Quero might be back. Just hit 108 EV, 430ft HR off a 96mph FB at the top of the zone
  10. Looks like 4 DSL players were released yesterday. DSL Brewers Blue released SS Joan Gutierrez DSL Brewers Blue released RHP Luis Velasquez DSL Brewers Gold released OF Pedro Tovar DSL Brewers Gold released RHP Saul Sanchez
  11. Also with Myers he can't be recalled from AAA until 9/3 because he needs to be down for 15 days. It would require an IL stint to get him back up.
  12. Id guess it’s Patrick not Myers. Myers just isn’t stretched out to be an actual starter. He hasn’t had a fully stretched out start in over a month in a half.
  13. Frankly I thought he did a really good job there staying composed while falling over multiple times making sure he touched the base correctly.
  14. Is anyone else a bit perplexed by the Middendorf release? With his release Biloxi only has 12 pitchers on their active roster and frankly I'm not sure I see anyone from Wisconsin getting promoted. Are there some guys coming off the IL that will be there to help them?
  15. Hasn't been announced yet so must be very recent. Looks like he last started in the KBO on 8/6 so some time in the last two weeks.
  16. That feels hard to believe especially if Turang's improvement with the bat is real. Trading him 2 years from now would be trading him with 2 years of control remaining though with Turang it would be Arb 3 and Arb 4. When is the last time the Brewers traded a good starting caliber position player with 2 years of team control remaining while not rebuilding or selling?
  17. Not even sure Rodriguez will still be up by then considering Woodruff isn't the listed starter for Sunday. Brewers have that listed as TBA. They might recall Chad Patrick for a spot start on Sunday which would push everyone else back a day to make their next start on 5 days rest. I agree though. What the plan for Misiorowski is seems uncertain. Certainly in the moment it feels like it was a mistake not to give him a rehab start to kind of build himself back up a bit. Not only did they do that they also started him on game 1 of the 19 in 18 stretch which guarantees him to start 4 times during the stretch. I feel like the Henderson injury might have forced their hand a bit. Considering it was either Myers or Misiorowski for game 1 of the 19 in 18 stretch and Myers wasn't full stretched out either.
  18. Now that the Brewers secured the 2-3 series against the Cubs which was all they really needed, can we please get some longer starts out of our rotation. Our relievers might die by the end of this 19 in 18 stretch if your starters keep this up. Our rotation averaged 4.6 IP per start during games 1 to 8 of the 19 in 18 stretch. Our SP have only gotten an out in the 6th inning in 3 of the 8 starts.
  19. Payne hit a hard grounder unfortunately right at the second baseman in his 2nd AB
  20. There are a lot more moves but I’m just sharing this one. Brady Ebel was assigned to Carolina
  21. Yeah seems like they are really easing him in in terms of both role and usage which is fine by me especially with the big lead in both the division and the race for the bye. Having him right by the playoffs is the priority.
  22. They haven't topped my original prediction but they had already topped my Chourio's injury is more series than expected panic prediction with the win on Saturday
