  1. He sat 90-91 with his sinker today, cutter was 89-90, slider was 80-82, curveball was 77-78
  2. I genuinely don't think it's an overreaction to say Priester looks absolutely horrible. We should have no expectations for him to be a useful MLB pitcher this year
  3. All Mitchell has to do is lower his K-rate 7 points and raise his HR rate 7 points and he's basically Aaron Judge. It's truly that easy.
  4. Definitely seems like it might be time to consider switching to hitting right handed full time. As a RHH - .237/.315/.361 expected slash, .303 xwOBA, 10% BB-rate, 17% K-rate, 89 Avg EV, 40% hard hit rate, 6% barrel rate, 20% whiff rate As a LHH - .193/.286/.287 expected slash, .262 xwOBA, 11% BB-rate, 31% K-rate, 88 Avg EV, 35% hard hit rate, 3% barrel rate, 30% whiff rate And as his big league career as gone on he's only gotten better hitting right handed and worse hitting left handed so the current splits are more extreme than these.
  5. Chris Carter’s one year in Milwaukee was above 50%. 41 HR, 76 BB, 206 SO in 644 PA for a 50.5% TTO
  6. Yeah Murphy basically said it was just a spot start for Crow. Maybe Gasser is coming up to start tomorrow. Could do a Henderson-Drohan piggy back today and a Gasser-Patrick piggy back tomorrow
  7. Brewers deserved an obstruction call going their way after like 3 went against them last year
  8. What they are doing with Jose Nova is criminal. They are just going to destroy this kid by keep throwing out there to get shelled. ERA is up to 28 after giving up a 3-run HR just now
  9. Payne with a no doubter 110 EV HR to CF off a 94mph FB
  10. Want to see one of the worst interference calls you’ll ever see?
  11. Don't understand why DL is coming in when Anderson, Fitzpatrick, and Woodford haven't pitched in a week. Anderson and Fitzpatrick for 1 and Woodford for 2 feels like a pretty easy decision to get them some much needed work.
  12. His rolling 15 game xwOBA coming into today was .323 so he's definitely been swinging the bat better
  13. I think the Brewers and Red Sox make really good trade partners because we seem to excel where they lack when it comes to pitching development. They also excel at some things better than us like improving bat speed for their hitters. If they want to keep sending us pitchers that they can't max out I would be all for it.
  14. You just spoiled that the Padres are going to come back and win this game unfortunately
  15. It's seriously impressive how much he's changed his swing. Two years ago he had a super short and flat swing and now he swings it like a legit power hitter. One of the most impressive development arcs I've ever seen.
  16. Chourio for whatever reason has not hit well at AmFam during the regular season but come the playoffs he mashes at AmFam. It's weird.z
  17. Unfortunately Uribe and Megill just don’t feel like trustworthy arms at this point. That is going to have to change because I don’t think we have the internal options to replace them. Megill doesn’t seem like he’s going to get his 100mph heat back and Uribe unfortunately has no feel for his pitches. Two different problems. Uribe in particular seems a bit more concerning because Megill has seemed to right the ship a bit meanwhile Uribe is still throwing his pitches up in the zone constantly
  18. @Matthew Trueblood could this be another instance of missing out on Berry? Wasn't he the OF coach in addition to being the 1B coach for the Brewers? The OF defense has been going the wrong way since he left. 2023 - 20 DRS, 18 FRV 2024 - 37 DRS, 20 FRV 2025 - 2 DRS, 13 FRV 2026 - 3 DRS, -1 FRV
  19. He didn't during his first rehab assignment. We will have to see how he looks this week in Appleton
  20. 44% K-rate since the start of last week so don't think so. Maybe he's getting off his A swing more comfortably?
