  1. 20 strikeouts to 2 walks for the ACL Crew today...That's just absurd.
  2. I know pretty much nothing about Dorchies, but man for someone who doesn't turn 19 until late October, his 6'5 frame looks very well filled out.
  3. Because they haven't been around long enough to see their flaws
  4. Guys this isn't the game thread haha
  5. So Roderick Flores is supposedly in the ACL game. That makes sense that he is actually in Arizona not in Nashville.
  6. So Biloxi’s hitting coach came to the Brewers this offseason from the Yankees org. The Yankees have a good reputation for hitter development and Biloxi currently look like the Bronx Bombers of the Southern League. Let’s keep this guy around.
  7. And here I thought it was Priester's 5 ERA/FIP/xERA and nearly 1:1 K:BB ratio that wasn't setting him up to succeed.
  8. I mean the weather probably did clear. The game was postponed due to field conditions not inclement weather
  9. Within a minute of you posting that haha
  10. Could just be the piggyback for Flores today. He and Flores have piggybacked together this year.
  11. If the Brewers are sub .500 at the deadline I'm hoping they actually sell. For sure try to sell - Hoskins, Bauers, Quintana, Alexander, Cortes, Civale, Payamps, Megill, Mears, Koenig Listen to offers - Peralta, Contreras What does the player want - Woodruff
  12. Looks like it's an actual pitcher now or at least someone kind of doing the two-way thing. 3 AB this season but up to 3 IP after today.
  13. I don't know what's up with the vibes and play of the MLB team but things on the minor league side have basically been going about as good as it gets outside of some injury issues. AAA - All the notable prospects have been good especially on the pitching side. AA - They are basically the Bronx Bombers of the Southern League. Pitching hasn't been the best. A+ - It's a weak team but not because of the notable prospects who have pretty much all been at least as good as expected. A - Youngest but best team in Carolina league. Bitonti has had a tough start and Payne is striking out a lot. ACL - Off to a fantastic first 10 days.
  14. There's not pitch data tonight so we don't know how long any of the PA are. Just the result.
  15. This team desperately needs a vibe infusion. None of these guys look like they are having fun. Not saying they should fire Murphy, but maybe you know Murph could try something new instead of the ripping his team apart to the media and all the tough love.
  16. I know it's cliche to blame hitting coaches for a struggling offense, but maybe we are seeing why MLB teams don't hire 65 year old hitting coaches that have never been an MLB hitting coach before
  17. I do think that if they come into the deadline .500 or a few games below that they should definitely consider selling.
  18. Not going to include AAA to MLB promotions just because that's a different scenario than minor league promotions. AA to AAA Zavier Warren - He's over 1000 PA in AA at this point and looks like he's conquered AA. BBs up, Ks down. Line drives up, pop ups down. Contact rate is up. He looks like he belongs in AAA. Brock Wilken - Doesn't to be immediately especially if they don't view him as a serious MLB roster candidate this season but things are trending in a very good direction for him. Coleman Crow - Once his arm is built back up for a starter's workload he should be on his way to AAA. AA does not appear to be enough of a challenge for him at this point. Justin Yeager - RP who is pushing 110 IP in AA. K's are up, BB's are down. He's throwing tons of strikes. Get him to AAA A+ to AA Jadher Areinamo - Hasn't been an amazing start to the year for him but he was worthy of a promotion to AA to start the season and has been a bit more patient at the plate this year. Tyson Hardin - Doesn't need to be immediately but as a 23 year old who has mostly overmatched the competition at A+, a promotion to AA might be in store for him. A to A+ Josh Adamczewski - Give him a week or two when he returns from his back issue. If he continues to mash move him up. Marco Dinges - Depends on how they view his defense. Offensively he needs a bigger challenge. If the defense is ready move him up. Tanner Gillis - Turns 25 in August. Needs a bigger challenge.
  19. Hey @ARobsBrewCrew do you have any info on O'Rae? Just feels weird that he's still just not on a roster or injured list.
  20. Your math would be correct! It's certainly been a much different ACL team in the early going compared to last year. I think we are seeing that the 2023 IFA class was maybe a bit of a down year. Yophery is the only super notable prospect from that class and the fact the Brewers traded him means they probably weren't internally as high on him as they were of their other top of the class IFA guys.
  21. So every ACL Brewers home game this year has had pitch data. Hopefully that keeps up for the whole season because you get such a better feel for the game when you actually see the ball, strike, foul, in play numbers.
  22. Could even throw Mears in there if they are in a position to sell. He's not as old as those other three RP but with 2 more years of control after this season it wouldn't be the end of the world to sell especially if he's still lights out and potentially really valuable for RP standards.
  23. I mean of course I don't mean Top 100 but you could probably get a couple of mid-teens org level prospects if the Brewers eat some of the mutual option buyout money and I wouldn't consider that a lottery ticket.
