  1. If Miz keeps throwing shutouts it won't matter how bad the other rookies are. 😎
  2. D'oh! I had 1.0 at first, and then remembered 2 hits today and confused myself. You're right!
  3. Miz's hits allowed per game jumped from 0.5 to 1.333 today. Tsk tsk. edit: 1.0. 3 games, 3 hits.
  4. I dunno, I think Chourio has the most violent swing on the team, if not the league, but Sal isn't bad. The problem is his swing is so level it's either a line drive or into the ground.
  5. I wonder how much of the additional dominance is throwing to MLB catchers. Presumably he's not doing much shaking off of Contreras (and now Haase), so he supplies the stuff, but they're really commanding the sequencing/selection.
  6. In fairness, "finding one" just means throwing your 101mph FB or your unicorn 96mph slider. I don't think there's a whole lot of thought needed. :)
  7. I highly doubt it. It's a day game after a night game and he hasn't sat in a while. He needs a day off.
  8. Quick comparison of Skenes and Miz including some of the ways that Miz is off the charts. https://www.mlb.com/brewers/news/jacob-misiorowski-vs-paul-skenes-statcast-breakdown
  9. See this thread for Mitchell updates:
  10. Yeah, there are going to be 2 interesting decisions coming up (assuming no other injuries). I It will be equally interesting how long the leash is for either of those two. If Woodruff or Cortes struggle, we don't have time (nor the need) to stay with them if they're not keeping us in games.
  11. Why? What specifically are you objecting to? If you sort by straight win%, they are 10th. You're still not able to articulate what the actual problem is.
  12. It seems to me you almost have to assume every pitcher is going to blow a UCL and factor that into your cost calculations accordingly, rather than be shocked when it happens.
  13. You are complaining about experts picking the list but you're not offering any examples of how Milwaukee is so wronged by these rankings. As was noted above, every team ahead of Milwaukee has more wins other than the Rays. Where exactly is this big market bias showing up?
  14. 1. They roughly are the same as if you just sort all teams by winning %. 2. If it was just that, what would even be the point? 3. If it was some formula, it wouldn't be an article to publish and get eyeballs. 4. Instead of just complaining about how it's a sham, what exactly is your problem with it specifically? Where is it wronging the Brewers?
