maybe this will be another wake up call for the Brewers ,just before the All star break. Or this could be another start of a long July after reaching that 14 games over 500.

Brewers have the best OPS in the NL against lefties with an .853.

Brewers have the 3rd best OPS in the NL vs righties with only a .763,

100 points of OPS is a pretty big gap.

Yeah its just not our day so far, between the ump giving them a run and all the hard hit balls at guys this game could of been very different. Thats baseball though, keep at marquis and beat up on the depleted bullpen.

Mike Hargrove resigned as manager of the Mariners because he's burned out.

Hopefully one of those hard hit balls will find the gap or corner with runners on. It's bound to happen.

Haha, gotta love it when Hardy and Jenkins both triple within 24 hours of each other...

Even though this game sucks so far, worst case is leaving Chicago with a huge lead and heading off to get fat on the Pirates and Nats before a four day all-star break.

Im surprised they did not pinch hit for Bush there.

Horrible luck this game with a mix of bad "D", bad fielding, and one atrocious ump call.

not really. Bush seems to have really settled in and has a low pitch count. No point in taxing the pen, unless our offense is showing signs of life

Here comes the comeback!?

Man. If the Brewers are only able to win 1 game in this series, I'm going to be pretty disappointed.

I just really just wanted the Brewers not to be swept. I'd obviously prefer the they win the series but the Cubs aren't going to make up much ground, at least.

Yay Corey!

Too bad Jenkins ran like a dip, or it'd be 4-2. Too bad the ump was a dip, or it'd be 3-2. Too bad Braun fielded like a dip, or it'd be tied.

Is it a given that Jenkins would have scored had he run? It really wasn't that slow of a roller. Maybe the Cubs wouldn't have even tried to cut him down with a 4 run lead?
