I have graduation tonight and will miss this game. I hope in my absence they are able to get a W and stop the bleeding on this road losing streak. Good thing from Manny's last two starts to build on hopefully he has another strong showing. Brauny, stay hot!

Well the Brewers get to face a lefty starter for the first time in a while, not that the offense has been the problem recently. Parra's been pitching better lately, hopefully Prince will remember 1B is the easiest position to field and Hall remembers if he continues to stink on defense he won't be starting every game

Congratulations!

Regardless of what level of schooling you just finished, I feel old when I hear about people graduating. And I'm only 32. Maybe taking care of a 1.5 year old all day, working at night, and preparing for another baby at year's end if also making me feel old. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Bill Hall has a 1.714 OPS vs. Maholm, with ZERO strike outs (I know novel idea). Would be nice to see Billy get that average up.

Stop the skid Parra. Time to bounce back, seriously, I'd like to max out my CC on playoff tickets. And you aren't allowing me to live the American dream.

How many years has a promising season, or some part thereof, gone down in flames in Pittsburgh? I think, karmically, we are due. I can't prove karma, nor can I make up a convoluted equation that supports what I am trying to say. All I know is that we need to sacrifice a live chicken.

Now go Google non sequitur.

Thanks! I am 25 and will be graduating from Gateway Technical College with my Associates Degree in Broadcasting. Hopefully the Brewers get me a W for my graduation present http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Bill Hall before th pitcher tonight? Has this been done yet this year? Not sure if that is the best spot for him given his willingness to swing at almost anything but he and hardy both seem to need a change of some sort so maybe this will help.

Brew Crew about to rattle off 6/7...just a feeling. 5 lefties and the next opposing righty has Sheets (2 starts in next 7) starting for us. The meltdown last weekend may light a fire...and the two big boys are en fuego. Plus, Yost went off on TH (justifiably so IMO) before the game...I like the fire!!!

GO BREWERS!!!

What the.. Villy out of the rotation? McClung for a start? I just don't see he has enough tools to be a starter. guess we'll find out.

This is not-quite-officially Game 1 in the No More Excuses tour.

Everyone they've played is great. We always see the other team's ace. Blah. Blah. Blah.

Shut up and win. Please.

Good point, pebadger. It's time to make some hay against the other loser teams and work our way back to respectability.

Rickie Weeks isn't exactly starting this off on a good note, though.

But I think it is officially the 1st game in the "Save Ned Yost's Job tour" - while I think it's already too late, the fact that he survived the off day means he still has a little more rope left before the front office kicks the chair out from under him.
