There is a fine line between bad luck and just plain bad. Zaun is quickly, well okay not very quickly, but he is crossing that line.

Following on Gameday, I wondered how Casey failed to score from second on a single, and worried that Zaun might GIDP.

I hate being pessimistic about the Brewers, and then being right.

When does Greg Zaun get the nickname rally killer? I know Kendall isn't good, but I don't see Zaun being better (offensively or defensively).

Uncle Greg has hit into 20 outs in 16 at bats they just said. Really testing my patience early in a season - esp. when we are 2-0 in Kottaras starts.

we have about a third of our lineup made up of DP guys not counting the pitcher. Escobar puts the ball on the ground a lot and will hit into many double plays this year. Ditto for Zaun. Gomez will probably hit into quite a few as well but he is a little less likely than the other 2.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Macha telling Zaun to go out and kill some time. This seems like the perfect place for Parra or Narveson.

I thought Gomez had been kicked off the team so Edmonds could have more playing time.

In 262 at bats last year, Gregg Zaun grounded into four double plays. In 16 at bats this year, Gregg Zaun has grounded into four double plays.

Well they got one anyway. Although I agree on McGehee. He needs to score on that single. It was a ground ball!
Typical Brad Fischer

I know Davis isn't get a whole lot of help from the ump, but when you never ever throw a first pitch strike, you can't complain that much. Even on the rare occasion that he pitches well, Davis games are brutal to watch. I already nodded off twice.

Zaun is calling pitchers resulting in too many dingers as well and passed balls galore (though I think they've been generously labeled as wild pitches). He's been about as valuable as Alex Sanchez.
