I read on brewers.com that for the first time Lucroy will catch Gallardo. Hopefully they work well together. I think this is the absolute sure sing that Lucroy is now the #1 catcher for the Brewers. And he has earned it.

Lucroy still won't be catching Wolf and won't be playing everyday as he shouldn't be. Even Mauer gets a regular day off as a catcher.

Looks like we should get used to this lineup, with Lucroy seemingly moving into the starting catcher role and Macha saying Gomez will hit no higher than 6th for the time being. Can't find much to not like about it, other than Casey struggling so badly behind Prince.

I love it when other teams play defense like the Brewers. How did Helton miss that, even with the shades down? That must be one nasty glare.

Just horrendous at bats by Fielder and Braun. Fielder gets behind 0-2 and swings at a pitch out of the zone for a 3 pitch strikeout. Braun has his at bat open up with 4 straight balls, of course he swings at 2 of them.

Very nice strike 'em out-throw 'em out there, with an awesome throw by Lucroy. He probably saved Yo another 10+ pitches that inning.

Kids are doing well and could add some excitement to this season. Especially enjoyed the shot of narveson, manny and yo shooting the breeze in the pen. The team seems a bit looser with this new blood.

I have really been impressed with Lucroy so far although it still is a fairly small sample. I'm glad he's being given the chance which he is definitely showing he has earned.
