[hawing]

If you see a geek in a 2006 Doug Davis jersey tonight, it's very likely to be me.

Guys, all I ask is a measure of on-field competence. Just competence.

[bensheeps]

Hawing

We'll keep a look out for the Sharpie jersey. Here's to a night where no mid-inning "walks" are needed by either of us.

[joepepsi]

The excitement I feel for this game should cure my insomnia.

[jjkoestler]

Should be one for the ages.... Maholm vs Davis. I'm sure I'll be telling my grand children about this barnburner.

[thablingster]

Welcome back, sharpie. Be wary of the defense behind you. Throw strikes. Just win, baby.

[Invader3K]

A mediocre lefty returning after a lengthy DL stint, backed by a keystone cop defense? Yeah, I'm not liking the Brewers' odds on this one.

[BrewCrewForever]

The highlight of this game for the fans in attendance might be Jenkins throwing out the first pitch.

I hope I am wrong.

[craigharmann]

I get to watch the game!! Switched to Dish Network, so I picked up the sports tier. Don't disappoint, boys!!!

[ilovebeer]

I don't like saying this but, I kind of hope the Brewers get swept and then Macha will get fired for sure.

[crewcrazy]

On the bright side, if the Brewers get swept they'll still be 4 games ahead of Pittsburgh.

This Pirates lineup looks quite a bit different than the last time we saw them. I'm most excited to see Tabata and Alvarez.

[logan82]

Is Lucroy hurt or something? He has been playing a lot less lately.

Why is Kottaras starting against a LHP instead of Lucroy?

[DocLuna7]

Is Lucroy hurt or something? He has been playing a lot less lately.

I think that they mentioned on the broadcast that he had a minor thumb injury and can likely play tomorrow.

[trwi7]

Raising that value. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

[DocLuna7]

Nice jack by Corey. Raise that trade value!

[stalton]

Did Corey pick whose throwing to him yet? (Great HR, by the way)

[trwi7]

I'm pretty sure I have a better chance to get a hit than Braun right now. Completely lost.

[DocLuna7]

For some reason, I am guessing that Maholm hit Gomez intentionally. Just a tough pitch to miss that much with.

[Schlitz001]

Did anyone catch the ovation that Jenkins got throwing out the first pitch? I hope he got treated well.

[pebadger]

Whew. Wathcing the Brewers with the lead was getting disorienting.

[crewcrazy]

Did anyone catch the ovation that Jenkins got throwing out the first pitch? I hope he got treated well.

Standing O, by all accounts.

[pebadger]

I know people want to see Macha argue and get all fired up, but even if that play wasn't as close as it was, it's a pretty meaningless play to get all riled up about, isn't it?

[trwi7]

I forgot how much I hate watching Doug Davis pitch.

[Rhett16]

I'm certainly glad Davis is back.

[sauveb]

Same old Sharpie.
