I got sleeted on while waiting for a bus after work yesterday. That was special, but I realize it could have been much worse.

pitchleague: It is girls' basketball tournament week (starting this afternoon), so even though Madison got only the most glancing of blows, I think we can count this as a traditional WIAA tourney storm.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Hartland had a dusting of snow when I woke up this morning. Now it's pretty much all melted. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

This thread just couldn't go away with the first 50+ inches of snow. We received some sleet last night and it is currently snowing in Wausau. Last I checked we could get 2-4 inches of snow today.

Winter Storm watches posted for the northern half of Wisconsin for Tuesday. Says there are places that could get 6-10 inches of snow. Will this winter please go away?

Models are also showing a second storm over the weekend. It looks a little warmer but the far Northwoods could get even more snow from that storm with a rain/snow mix over the areas that get dumped from the first storm.

Edit: I should also note that the Madison area looks to be on the hook for 2-4" from the first storm, as the models have pushed the track a little farther south now. Kind of late in the year for that much snow, but as long as it falls at night it should stick.

NOAA site has up to 6" snow/sleet accumulation projected for Appleton & Oshkosh. They have 7" projected for Wausau, but as all snow.

These spring snowstorms are a nightmare to predict. I wouldn't take the forecast accumulations very seriously. The highest totals tend to be more localized in these spring storms, with everyone else getting a sloppy 1-3". The thunderstorms in Illinois could steal the moisture also. But the storm is definitely coming and it's going to be mostly in the form of snow for the NW 2/3 of the state.

This sucks... I have a 45 minute commute or so for the next couple weeks before I move closer to my job that I just started today and then we get this. Of course, the brakes on my care are pretty much shot at the moment.

Snow is coming down hard in Oshkosh right now. I'm seeing differing reports of 5-8 inches or 6-10 inches by tomorrow.

I've already broken two shovels this past winter...Mother Nature is pushing it with this one, so she can fix it her damn self.

If I had Braun's pee in my fridge I'd tell everybody.

I can safely say that my hair is rainwater soft.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

just completely hating this weather.

I have been waiting to take on some outdoor projects, but at this rate, I will have to wait till June.

This is the week of my spring break. I have a major project to tackle (staining windows) where I need about 2 days of dry warmth, and was hoping that would have happened this week. This sucks...

Starting seeing tiny flakes fall at about 4:20 here in Wausau. Schools cancelled all after school activities by 10:30 this morning. I thought they knew something that others didn't. I guess not.

On a positive note: The extended forecast has one day in the 70's for the Oshkosh area! I know, those are never really accurate but we can only hope...
