Ever heard of a Brewer/Bear fan?

I have run into a million Cub/Packer fans. Man, it annoys me. In a way, I almost prefer Cub/Bear fans. At least it's consistent and not just choosing the more fashionable MLB team and the more fashionable NFL team.

I was wondering if anyone has ever known someone who mixed and matched the two less trendy teams, the Brewers and Bears. I know I haven't and those closest to me haven't. Just curious if someone has experienced that anomaly.

I have a friend who is a Brewers/Bears fan. It's how he grew up I believe.

I'm a Brewers/Falcons fan. I grew up in Wisconsin but my dad follows all Atlanta teams. I only became a Brewers fan after I moved to Milwaukee, and still follow the Braves as my secondary team.

jjkoestler, that is a pretty sorrowful combo!

My brother is a big time Brewers/Bears fan. The rest of our house are all Packers/Brewers fans, but he just wanted to be different.

Slightly different, but it always throws me when I see my fellow Badgers fans out there...and they are wearing Cubs hats...don't know whether to love them or despise them...I tend to take a seasonal approach.

I don't know any myself, but my nephews are growing up in Chicago and love the Packers, Steelers and Bears as well as the Cubs, Brewers and Twins. It's very confusing, but they are young and impressionable.

I am actually a Brewers/Bears fan I guess watching the Bears practice in the summer made me a Bears fan never really thought about it. My youngest brother is even weirder he is a Chiefs/Cubs fan.

My ole lady is a Brewers Bears fan. I attribute that to her being from Kenosha. Might as well just annex that part of the state to Illinois and be done with it.

She went to college in Milwaukee which led to her being a Brewers fan and soon enough I will convert her to a Packer fan.

I'm a Brewers/Bears fan. Chicago is closer than GB, and I wasn't consulted when they drew the state line, so I'd argue that's my hometown team!

Pretty sure there's one on here. kilgore37 has a Bears Cutler jersey avatar.
I'm a Brewers/Packers fan, and there have been times where I've been tempted to buy a Jay Cutler jersey. I always assumed kilgore37 was just a Packers fan who realized the value of Jay Cutler.

I have a friend who's a Brewers/Bears fan. He grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and didn't begin to care about baseball until college, when he'd been living in WI for maybe 10 years.

I believe we've had several on this board over the years (football talk was here before the days of Lambeau Leap).

I'm a Brewer/Bear fan, always have been. I latched on to the 85 Bears as a kid and the rest is history. Can't stomach the Packers one bit, but also cannot stand the Cubs. It's weird when you fellow fans are buddies in Fall and enemies/idiots in spring.

Weird? Not at all. Down here Spring allegiances are split between Cubs and White Sox and in the fall we all (well most of us) join together

My nieghbor is a White Sox Packer fan his wife a Cubs Bears fan

What's weird is seeing both flags flying from their deck on game day.

Brewers/Niners http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Me too! I was actually at a Niners-Saints game in New Orleans the day the Brewers clinched the playoffs. I was going nuts in my Niners jersey while exiting the stadium after a bad 49ers loss and getting continuous cell phone updates on the Brewer game (when they took the lead). All the Saints fans thought I was crazy.
