[Oxy]

Marcum with another gem. As long as it isn't marred by the guys behind him I feel good about this one. A victory here, then take 2 out of 3 against STL and it's a 4-6 road trip. That isn't too bad all things considered.

Then again, a loss tonight coupled with a losing series at STL and it's a 1-9 or 2-8 road trip. Ugh.

[Invader3K]

Marcum gets to play stopper again. Let's hope he is solid enough (as he has been), and the lineup actually starts producing again.

[pretendastronaut]

The lineup is getting closer to how it should be. It has the right pieces finally anyway.

[bucksman4]

Marcum is the ace of this staff, hands down. Good to see he's on the hill to stop the bleeding tonight. The dude is just a bulldog out there.

[PrinceEatMeat]

Don't understand Hart behind Betancourt, but I guess they just want to take the pressure off him to get him going.

I think that's exactly it. I don't think Roenicke will try moving Hart up the lineup again until he starts hitting consistently.

[pingman]

and here's the Braves lineup:

#Braves

lineup 1. Prado LF, 2. Heyward RF, 3. Jones 3B, 4. McCann C, 5.

Uggla 2B, 6. Hinske 1B, 7. McLouth CF, 8. Hicks SS, 9.Beachy

[DatHoser]

I will do haiku

As Hawing pushes reset

Winning streak starts now

[PrinceEatMeat]

On the bright side, we can't lose 2 tonight.

[Oxy]

This team needs mojo

Could haiku be the answer?

Perhaps. Shall we try?

Another possibility could be a "nothing but sunshine" day in that EVERY post has to be a positive comment. After last night's IGT, it could be therapeutic, and really test the power of positive thinking :p.

I keep trying to push this. Why is it not working?

[derflotr]

At dawn starts anew

Yesterday's woes whisked aside

Please catch the baseball

[DatHoser]

Shawn Marcum pitching

He will get this team untracked

And shut down the Braves

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Season at first brink;

Brave stopper stands atop mound.

Is this "must win" game?

[trwi7]

Other games tonight

Will not be watching Brewers

Maybe that will help

[Hammer]

On the road tonight

Also not watching Brewers

Sanity improves

[AJAY]

First time all season that we have our best possible lineup out there. No Kotsay, No Nieves, No Gomez, etc.

Thank god.

[PrinceEatMeat]

Carlos Gomez sucks

Tony Plush is playing now

We will win the game

[pitchleague]

Haikus can suck it

We can only do them on

when mods tell us to.

As for the game itself, I'm hoping Marcum can deliver and I like that our "solidest" lineup yet is out there. I would be happy to finish 4-4 against Atlanta for the year. Let's hope so.

[stoutdude04]

That heater has got some pop.

Struck out the side. Great...

[RightFieldCoder]

A swing and a miss

this describes the Brewers bats

so much for offense

[PrinceEatMeat]

This team cannot field

This team cannot hit the ball

This team cannot pitch
