2011-05-06 Brewers (Wolf) at Cardinals (Garcia) - [Brewers lose, 6-0]

Remember BA was the announcer when Halladay threw his no hitter in the playoffs. And he mentioned is like 40 times.

I would think a perfect game here would be fitting.

Need to break up this no-no/perfect game. The amount of ensuing class following a Cards no-no would make my head explode.

Do you hear that, Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of inevitability.

Is it fair to ask if no-hitting the Brewers is realy all that big a deal at this point?

How long does RRR last with the team playing this poorly?

Melvin goes first. No doubt.

and I think this will be the year he will be gone. The team as a whole that he put together this year is embarrassing.

RRR will get his 2 years. Melvin might not even be around to trade Prince in July.

I either want a no hitter or perfect game or I want one of the Brewers to bunt for a hit. That would be hilarious.

That would be good!! Gomez would be the one to do it.

If Jaime finishes this off, it would be STL's first no-hitter since 2001. What a long regional nightmare the cardinal nation has suffered through.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I doubt they fire Melvin mid-season and I doubt they fire their newly hired manager 1 month in. Let's not get overly drastic here, my goodness. How would any of that help right now??

I hope we get no-hit tonight...this team has been so pathetic so far they need something to wake them up. Can't wait for Monday's game after a 1-9 road trip.

Why would Melvin go? How is any if this his fault? (And yuni as our SS us not a valid reason)

he is the one that constructed this non hitting, non fielding, crap bench team

Because he's on his 3rd manager. This team is built to win now. Anything outside of winning 85+ is a major disappointment.

"We are a good hitting club. Garcia was just on tonight" RR

Well, they are a talented hitting team. And Garcia is pitching really well, offensive issues aside. He wouldn't be wrong if he said that.
