2011-05-14 Pirates (Karstens) at Brewers (Narveson) - [Brewers win, 8-2; post-game audio at tail end of thread]

[Hofbraunhaus]

I can't believe Hart was called safe but I'll take it. It's nice to see some things going the Brewers way. Let's put this game away here now.

[derflotr]

Brewers have to win this one, they've gotten every break. Would not like to be a Pirates fan right now.

[LaprilOne]

Since you can't see depth on a 2D screen, maybe Doumit did not get his glove down? the ump was 12 inches away, got to wonder. Whatever, I'll take

it.

[theavrock]

Someone should go over to the Pirates board. I can only imagine the hate spewing out of there right now. Yikes.

[jason21nl]

way to open this sucker up!

[theavrock]

Would be amazing to see Casey and Corey start heating up.

[Menotti80]

Epic double!

[cnycerveceros]

Smooth.

[hurricanecrush]

Does this mean we can sit Loe?

[cnycerveceros]

Picking on Lucroy today.

[Oxy]

LuCroy gets another chance with a guy on third and one out.

[endaround]

What with Bill and Brian treating Lucroy's bat like he's Nieves today?

[jason21nl]

cup check!

[hurricanecrush]

Bill: "Bingo" LOL

[hurricanecrush]

Weeks is going yard here.

Edit: Or not. He might have had a better chance if he had actually swung the bat.

[endaround]

Loe up? Really?

[tyguy20204]

Why the hell is Loe warming up.

[bucksman4]

If he can't get lefties out, get him off the team.

[trwi7]

Our bullpen isn't being helped by Stetter being completely useless.

[Oxy]

Stetter's time as a Big Leaguer is about to run out.

[dlk9s]

Loe up? Really?

He needs the work. He's had two whole days off.

[thablingster]

Oh Stetter. The Pirates radio guys are mulling completely in the Pirates woes, while at the same time laughing at Stetter's lack of velocity and sidearm delivery.

[theavrock]

Apparently Bill thinks that we need to overwork Loe to get the "fatigue factor" for his sinker to be effective. So since Loe hasn't pitched since Wed he needs to be in?

And why the H is Stetter pitching to a righty?

ah another lefty after Cedeno. Ok now its time to get him out of there.

[cnycerveceros]

It would be nice if this didn't become a save situation.

[ilovebeer]

Wow I fell asleep on the couch watching the game and just woke up to see the score what a game.
