Just curious what the reasoning is behind Morgan in RF and Aoki in center?

Why place 2 guys out of position instead of just plugging Morgan into CF where he is used to playing and keeping Aoki in RF, where he is used to playing.

Sometimes, the tinkering with the line-up just to be tinkering with it is just dumb.

The OF shuffle makes some sense. Morgan may not be in MIL after this season, Aoki should be. CF is Aoki's natural position in Japan, and the coaches probably just want another look at him in Center. My guess is that it is as simple as that. The season isn't in the balance to need to worry about guys playing slightly out of position.

Edit: Contrast that to playing Kotsay in CF in the NLCS. That still boggles my mind.

Weeks needs to be moved back down in the order. 5 for his last 38. Why oh why are we putting him directly in front of the league MVP? Don't you want guys that can get on base in front of your biggest bats??

He ripped a ball deep to the gap on a line. If the outfield wasn't playing deep, that was easily extra bases.

That should go down as the biggest bungle in Milwaukee Brewers history...The effects of that decision could have cost us a World Series Championship, too bad we'll never know for sure, but it kills me to think about it even a year later.

"Must be a Corey Hart fan there" -- Brian Anderson, coming back from commercial to start the top of the 7th, with a Brewers fan wearing sunglasses at night shown on screen

BA didn't overexplain the joke, so I will. Thought it was nicely done.

I'm not as up on the minor league players as a lot of you are but I was a bit surprised to not see Scooter Gennett on the AFL list. Can someone explain this to me? Also, nice RBI by Segura!

Must Axford start every appearance with a walk? 2 run lead. How about an easy save here, John??

Corey's not having a good inning or so here, heck of a play by Segura.

[sarcasm]DFA Hart now[/sarcasm], although that should have been a game ending DP

not even getting my hopes up in the least, but the brewers are only eight back in the loss column for the last wild card spot and it's still august.

Not getting my hopes up, either, but at least it's more fun to kinda sorta not really scoreboard watch than not care at all.

38 AB, huh? Weeks has a career OBP of .350 OBP and a .355 OBP over the last 2 months. He's had a terrible year and still has a .325 OBP for the season. Lucroy is the only other reasonable option there and he's not much of an OBP guy himself.
