If this goes to trial I give Russ an 11.9% chance of walking, with a 5.7% chance that his lawyers hit one out of the park. I'd give him a 32.9% chance at striking out completely. As for the remaining 49.5%, anything could happen as it's still in play.

In 2008, Branyan was arrested in Ohio for allegedly striking his ex-wife in the face during an argument while driving.

I don't remember that. He was back with the Brewers that year. What is it with wife beaters and the Brewers?

I heard he hurt his knee while breaking in. He'll be on the disabled list for 3 to 5.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

So does this mean he won't be available for the season? We may need a 1st basemen after the Lind trade.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I think we can all agree that there's nothing funny about Russell's actions...but this post is gold, sveumrules, GOLD!

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

details on his 2008 charges: viewtopic.php?p=409461#p409461

That thread was interesting given what we now know about Penn St.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Did he just sacrifice bunt? I'm so confused.

Sounds like he walked...
