Why? He got us out of trouble in the 10th and didn't even throw a pitch to Heyward. Don't blame him, blame an offense that refuses time and time again to come up with a big hit. They were bound to run into one at some point tonight the longer things kept going.

It is easy to say this was a great 1-1 game won in extra innings but it simply was not the case. This was two completely dysfunctional offenses flailing away randomly at garbage hoping to randomly connect for a HR. The Cubs happened to get it first. So many truly awful at bats this game.

Brewers averaged 6.33 runs per game this month prior to ASB. Since: 3.79 including this games 1 run. 3 of the 14 games had 8,9,8 runs scored. w/o them it's 2.45runs in 11games.

 

Swing and a miss team, we knew this kind of offense was going to happen. It's in a 2week stretch currently. Something will shake the lineup to life....I hope.
