There's a part of me that wanted to see them just pull Suter last inning and take a shot with Aguilar with 1st and 2nd. You just don't know with his offense when you'll get another shot.

Thats absolutely what they should have done, you've got a nine man bullpen right now, cant give away outs with this offense.

This is about what I would expect from Suter going forward. He doesn't have the stuff to go through and order multiple times and the league is starting to get the book on him.
but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

Hope it was worth it for Craig getting that one additional out from his starter.

For the optimists, it's not negative to say "game over" at this point, it's just following history over the last 2-3 weeks.

Whatever makes you feel better.

How're you feeling the last three weeks? Fine and dandy?

Do you enjoy watching yadier yuck it up in the dugout?

It's negative. To say game over after a few innings losing by at most a few? Why do you even turn the game on honestly? Doesn't sound like a fun experience.

After Eric Sogard grounded out with two on in the 5th, #Brewers are 1 for their last 41 with runners in scoring position.

Throwing Jeffress in the fire. Huge confidence builder if he gets out of this.

And nope... good night

Too bad. Jeffress likes it here, be nice if he had success.

He has nasty stuff still. Like Knebel, he needs to show he can throw that curve for strikes. And he should probably start a clean half inning.

It's hard to blame people for feeling negative. The offense has completely disappeared since the AS break and the team has gone from 5.5 up in the division to very doubtful for the playoffs. It's frustrating, no doubt.

C'mon TPlush, no one should find this fun. But you're right, I shouldn't watch. Guess I'm a glutton for punishment.

Oh I don't find it fun, but I also don't turn it on to complain. Then call it a game after we are losing by a run. If that was my mind set I wouldn't turn it on at all. Which I have done...most notably Game 6 of the NLCS in 2011. Shaun Marcum was pitching so I didn't waste my time turning it on.

Suter was so good his last time out. This time, notsomuch. Still not COMPLETELY out of it. Need a few runs this inning.

:laughing A few runs this inning? I hope you are right, but a few runs a GAME seems to be asking too much lately.

What a difference a month makes. From playing well, building a division lead and speculating about us being buyers to this unwatchable dumpster fire of a team who can't hit their way out of a paper bag. This gets so depressing year after year. 3.5 games back may as well be 30.5 games.

Then go root for the Reds

They've been breaking our hearts for almost 50 years. They just find new ways every so often. No real reason to think this season was going to be any different.
