Hendricks basically caught Perez at the perfect time, he was just taking his lead. Caught him sleeping a bit but not terrible.

 

I was going to come on here and give him credit for not sliding into 1st base on the close play like he normally would, probably the difference there between safe and out. But agreed that it's hard to give him too much credit for that anymore.

Worst rundown? Id say the one arcia scored on early in the year would be the winner of that one.

What a weird day for Perez. He misplays a fly ball leading to a run. Then gets a bunt down to help the Brewers get it back. Hustles out a routine ground ball. Gets picked off.

As much as I don't want to open this can of worms again but as much as BA misses during the season I hope the Brewers/FSN Wisconsin just move on and find a quality guy to just take his spot.

 

Coshun called that homer like it was going to be foul or caught the whole way, he was legitimately speechless which is not a good look for a professional broadcaster.

 

If we got BA or Lepay all year round, I'd be all for that, but when Lepay goes back to Madison and we get Coshun in meaningful September games it's a bit of a joke. They really need to figure something else out.

 

All that said, BA is one of the best in the business and taking him for granted would be a mistake. Every year he stays with the Brewers is a gift.

Just about. For Rizzo they play the 2B in shallow RF and the RF a step or two in front of the warning track.
