9 outs to go to get at least one hit. I do not want to see these guys celebrating on our field.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Cain does too much of that. Pitch on the inside black, 90-degree posture extreme jump back as if it had a chance to hit him. I think it hurts him with the ump.

How about score a couple runs? We don’t need hits with their defense.

Not even on my radar until they get a hit.

The people hating on Flaherty must really hate watching Mad Max Scherzer too. It’s called being a competitor. Lighten up a bit. This guy has every right to have a chip right now. Making us look foolish.

You know it's gonna happen.

but it's not like every guy suddenly forgot every piece of advice he gave

I'm hating Flaherty more and more with every passing inning. Jawing again after striking out Cain.

The adage of "If you don't like it do something about it" comes to mind.

If he's jawing at Cain the benches would have cleared. Cain never stopped talking to the ump to even look at him. Don't think he was "jawing" at all. He's showing some emotion, you are following Cardinal level of unwritten rules by complaining about that...

Scherzer doesn't pitch for the Cardinals.

Getting one measly hit so they can't celebrate a no-no on our field is no moral victory to me. We can still win this thing.

This. This guy reminds me of Chris Carpenter. Hader should have hit him in the ribs for the Cain HBP

[sarcasm]No crap Sherlock.[/sarcasm] But most likely in order to win, they’ll need a hit. I don’t want to the Brewers to be apart of their stupid history.
