votto didnt like the called 2nd strike, kratz said something to him, votto said "why you think you can talk to me?" and Kratz stood up and said "do you realize how big I am?" and everyone rushed home plate

Votto didn't like the strike 2 call and let the umpire know it. He was taking his sweet time getting back in the box and Kratz told him to get his rear back in the batters box and then Kratz stood up and the two started jawing at each other. Then the benches cleared.

Votto was complaining about a strike being called (it was). And after a while Kratz told him to get back in the box or to the quit ripping on Guerra pitch. So they started jawing back and forth with each other and everybody in the world came out to stand around in a circle

Votto was arguing a borderline strike call. Wouldn't shut up and eventually Kratz seems to have told him to quit his *******'. Votto takes his helmet off, Kratz stands up, get in each other's faces, benches empty, bullpens clear for all of 30 seconds. Home plate umpire did nothing. Only when Votto was back in the box (still whining) did another empire stop play to issue warnings.
