Someone has to be able to throw one inning. A hitter should have hit there, no matter how bad the hitter was, and if he doesn't get the hit then you go to your last arm and hope for some luck but understand you're probably dropping this one. It's almost like he did the same thing without trying to get the hit, which is why I find it very odd.

 

It was a little bit like taking a knee at the 50 yard line with 3 seconds left to go to OT. You may as well throw one up there first.
