How on earth did they not tag up on that drive to the wall with Cain's momentum going the wrong way. I don't care how slow the guy on 2nd is he should be on 3rd.

 

All of this team is done stuff makes me feel so old, I just assume those posters are like 20 years old and new to baseball. Nobody who has watched baseball a long time says stuff like that. The game is just so sporadic that you cannot predict what is going to happen over a 30 game stretch regardless of what happened the last few games.

This team has been nothing but average for awhile now...with little sign of being much better than that. It’s not the most fun to watch and surely doesn’t help when they find ways to dissapoint multiple times a week in frustrating ways.

 

I hope September brings better baseball. They haven’t been terrible overall, but surely haven’t been that good.

If they win this game they are 17-14 since the all star break. Pretty much the same as their seasonal win rate. If they lose I guess they are pretty average. The fact that one game changes things that much tells you all you need to know about what a 30 game sample means.
