2018-09-10: Brewers (Miley) at Cubs (Lester) 7:05 PM CDT [Brewers win, 3-2; Hader dominates over 2 IP, & JJ slams the door]

[yfinn6]

HUGE play by Schoop. Beautiful.

[TooLiveBrew]

Schoop!!!!!!

[bigredrobbo]

Aren't there two outs? Says one on screen.

[TURBO]

Schoop looking like a stud there! NICE!

[LouisEly]

Wow. What they gave away on the weak double they just got back with Schoop's play.

[Eye Black]

Wow, such a big play by Schoop.

[jjfanec]

Well I guess that worked out.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

I'm happy Counsell stuck with Miley there. Showing faith in his starter instead of giving him the quick hook. Sometimes you gotta let your pitcher wiggle off the hook.

[Fear The Chorizo]

There should have already been activity in the bullpen with 2 on and Bryant on deck.

geez.

I take it that means CC forgot they Brewers have like 47 guys in the pen available to use. Instead we get a scuffling Miley pitching to Bryant here with the bases loaded...great

tie game, please don't give Rizzo a tater

[MoreTrife]

Great play Schoop

[trwi7]

Maybe start treating Miley like a minor league non-roster invitee and less like an ace that can pitch out of the mess he created.

[brewerfan82]

ha, you guys are a little ahead of my video feed. nice play!

[adambr2]

That was insane defense!

Inning could have been much, much worse.

[LouisEly]

I could see sticking with Miley if his spot was due up in the next inning but it wasn't. Got 12 in the bullpen - don't take chances.

[RollieTime]

I love Schoop’s defense! Nice job ranging over to his left and making a perfect throw over to first!

[topper09er]

Of course CC doesn't get Hader up because as usual his primary decision making tool for what reliever to use is the inning, not the score/situation.

[Ron Robinsons Beard]

Miley gave up one run that inning. Nice work finding his command again.

[KeithStone53151]

That was unfortunately a fantastic play by Baez.

[pacopete4]

That could’ve been a nice leadoff double. Damn.

[TooLiveBrew]

Yeah honestly I thought Lester looked hurt or off after the first pitch where Contreras wanted to go to the mound. Odd sequence.

[KeithStone53151]

Come on you guys stop swinging at everything.

[LouisEly]

Who had Eastern Mennonnite University as even having a baseball team, much less producing a major leaguer?

Edit - they have two! Larry Sheets is the other!

[pacopete4]

Unhitch the wagon Moustakas. Wow.

[adambr2]

Moose is uh, slow.
