I just hope St. Louis can win 1 game so that we at least control our own destiny. The Cards look finished.

Even if the Brewers fall to 2 GB after tonight, I still don't think it's time to panic until they are mathematically eliminated. There's a good chance the Brewers take 2 of 3 from Detroit and I think there's a decent chance that STL can take 2 of 3 from the Cubs.

If they fall back to 2 GB tonight I would put their division chances at very slim, it wouldn't be time to panic but it would be time to accept the reality that it's most likely going to be a wild card game and prepare for that.

If they're 2 back they need 5 games to all go their way to take the division: 2 Cardinal wins at Wrigley, 2 Brewer wins vs. Detroit at Miller, and a Brewer win at Wrigley. Highly doubtful.

It's not over if the Cubs don't win today but the Brewers aren't in a position to afford to drop one to Detroit.

I think the Cards will be ticked and still looking to catch that final WC spot and have their 3 best pitchers going.

Well, I'm certainly ticked watching them play.

Anyone ever go to the fan appreciation weekend? Was told you can win prizes and such... is it worth it?
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

They’ll give everybody a scratch off card as the walk in. Chances are you’ll win a couple of Loge Level tickets to an April midweek game or $10 in free concessions next year.

Sweet! I’ll take it.

They couldn't have looked more flat and uninterested than they did today. I sure hope something snaps and they put up a better fight the final 2 games.

Let's soak this all in while we can Brewer fans. Regardless of what happens this weekend, there will be October baseball in Milwaukee in 2018. While the Cubs winning today stinks, its exciting that we have this weekend ahead of us with a guarantee of the playoffs afterwards.

Go Crew!

Would any of us here , say , at the AS break.... be disappointed if the worst case after this weekend is hosting the WC game? Or even before the year started? I think we would all be glad to have that opportunity! And not out of it for the division yet either. This is a special year. Hope we can keep it going.

Amen! It is hard to fathom that this could be the last four games of Brewers baseball until February. Come on Crew!

I'm feeling pretty relaxed about this final series. Confident that we can take the Wild Card so there's no desperation to catch the Cubs for me.

I think CC should prioritize making sure the bullpen is ready to fire on all cylinders on Monday rather than going all out to sweep Detroit when the Cubs destiny is out of our control anyways.

I was thinking the same thing, crazy that the season could be over as soon as Tuesday or go as long as the end of October. Either way, lots of things to be excited about in both the present and future.

Not just “at Night” anymore.
