I don't even blame JJ much. I blame an abomination of missed opportunities on offense and a horribly bad decision by Counsell to lead off Santana in the 3rd freaking inning.

Why did we take Hader out? He threw 20 pitches, and was electric. Facing 8, the pitcher and leadoff hitter, he'd have been perfect.

 

What a meltdown in the last full inning. Bases loaded with no out, and get no runs, and now this.
