Aguilar needs to catch that. Needs to.

Bad Grandal is back!!!

Grandal had zero chance at that

Tough play, but I wouldn’t say zero chance...

Watch the video though. A spinning ball hitting the dirt is bad enough. When it hit the edge of the plate it changed the tragectory quickly and made it pure luck of he happened to stop it.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

Innings 1-6 in this series: Brewers 10, Dodgers 0

Innings 7-9 in this series: Dodgers 7, Brewers 1

I could have done without this game note. ;)

Not just “at Night” anymore.

Somehow I just knew Knebel would serve one up on the first pitch just so he wouldn't fall behind. Thankfully normal Moose showed up on that play.

So weird to have a quick hook with Miley who was dealing, then try to ride out Chacin.

They were taken out at almost the exact same time. Miley faced the leadoff batter a 3rd time and was taken out. Chacin faced the #2 hitter a 3rd time and was taken out.

Not doing the usual double switch is another low-key disadvantage to not bringing in Hader when they normally would. Love Chacin, thankful for everything, but no. Just no. Tomorrow you have FOUR available, talented starters who have contributed a lot to help you get here in the last month. You can start trusting some other people and not trying to turn your best players into workhorses, which isn't what made them great in the first place.

It's the same as JJ yesterday. Yes, the dude was a stud to get you here. No, it's not a case of benching him or not showing faith in him. It's just playing the odds, realizing that sharing the workload has always been a big part of the formula, and trusting everyone who got you here because it's been a team effort all along and now is not the time to change that.

I get using the double switch but it kind of results in Perez pinch hitting for Aguilar when you think about it.

We all could have. Win this damn series and we can pretend it never happened.

Honest question, no snark. What do you mean by not doing the usual double switch? Maybe I'm dumb and not following what you mean by that
