Guys all season have stepped up when needed. All season, different guys. It’s Arcia’s time. I love the damn ball team.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

I don't think I want Knebel going back out. I'd go Soria or Guerra...or Jeffress against the bottom of the order. Then Hader for the last 2.

I'm curious as to why. They hit one ball hard on him but he just blew it by the rest of them. He'd be facing a really bad part of their lineup too. His pitch count was also very low. I mean maybe now that we got 2 more runs they go with Soria to preserve him.

Only because he's not usually a multi-inning reliever, and not using him for another inning keeps him fresh for tomorrow. Gotta figure hader going 2 innings so Knebel is the guy if we get a lead late tomorrow. It has nothing to do with how he looked in action today.

You can be the biggest turd with a bat all year, but put yourself in Brewer lore with a few swings of the bat at the end. That’s the beauty of baseball on a competitive team.

I would bet dollars to doughnuts Knebel is coming back out.

I agree, I just don't think I'd do it. He doesn't pitch many multi-inning stints. It's different for a reliever. Hopefully it works out.

Cc made a double switch bringing him in. Kneble pitching next inning is a guarantee.

Arcia and Kratz getting it done in the postseason. Who would have thought? Would be so huge to get wins against both Kershaw and Buehler. Loving this ride!

Love me some arcia! Lets keep them shut diwn now!

Agreed. I would add that you have to start trusting some other guys too. They need work, they've been pretty solid, and it's better to use them in the right situation (when your best guys arguably would benefit from a little rest) than wait until you have no choice.

Keep the foot down! More runs does not mean needing to change the pitching strategy. We all know what 5-0 became on Friday night.

The announcers sound so disappointed every time the Brewers do something good. Smoltz is so invested in this Brewers use the bullpen too much that he is going to live or die on the concept. I guess 11 IP of 0 ER isn't good enough for him in 2 games.

Does that help people now recognize what seeing a guy for a 3rd time does for the batter?

It's so obvious now...everyone could see Buehler slowly losing effectiveness...it was simply a matter of time.
