D bag or not. Wish Machado was in our lineup

Not me, I don't want to root for guys like him under any circumstance.

I'm perfectly content with him being on other teams.

Same. I wanna win but you gotta draw the line somewhere. Winning is only fun when it's inspiring, not when you sell your soul for it.

Curious...do you root for Braun?

I don’t. I’ll win with Arcia.

"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

So, is that all for Woodruff? I would love to see a couple more innings out of him, but I have no idea how stretched out he is. He doesn't look tired to me.

They said 4-5.

I’d give him another chance as the shadows will be in his favor.

Woody - 4IP, 41 pitches. Double plays are your friend.
"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Boy that’s a loaded question lol.

Yeah, I think we can write Woodruff's name in pen for the rotation next year.

Yep. I'm really curious how the starters/pen situation will turn out. Woodruff, Burnes, and Freddy all deserve a shot, in my opinion.

Efficiency on display. Two outs on one pitch sure helps that equation.

With the potential shadow advantage for an inning upcoming, I'd try to get at least one more from Woodruff. If it's another 8-12 pitch inning, it might even be worth trying to get another after that.

My optimism for the Brewers rotation in the future was what would happen if one or two of Woodruff/Peralta/Burnes/Hader worked out.

Next year is going to be fuuuuuun.

Davies after Woody? Is that the deal?

It really looked like Kershaw might not get through five. Now I'd be surprised if he didn't get 7-8.

And there's that inside pitch I was talking about. Again, they can't lay off it. Usually, it's a strikeout. Flyball this time.

I would think so, but they did show Soria stretching. He could just be gradually warming for later. Who knows.
