2018-10-17 (NLCS Game #5): Brewers (Miley) at Dodgers (Kershaw) 4:05 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 5-2]

[owbc]

Hard to blame Yelich for taking 2 balls and being down 0-2.

Kershaw doesn't seem interested in pitching to Braun.

[OldSchoolSnapper]

I green light Braun on any count here.

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Braun has come to play so far. Regardless of result, he’s basically the only mid-lineup hitter I’d want up there.

[TURBO]

Yelich will come up big this game, watch and see... Then we will all love him again.

[HarveysWBs]

Man. Yelich. Come on dude.

To be fair, he just got Kershaw's (and the umpire's) best work there. Unreal

[folly412]

Someone tell Yelich he gets the day off tomorrow. Maybe that "day off" will help him get good again.

[PinaMadness]

They must have microphones all over the place for the postseason because we got more grunting going on.

[HarveysWBs]

Hey, so, does Aguilar have any reason to want a big moment in this game? Just wondering...you know, hypothetically...

[WinkelsasVsSoriano]

Jesús, we need you big time. Slam it.

[TURBO]

This thread is a batter ahead of the sirius radio broadcast I'm listening to...

[82brewcrew82]

Please please please please please

[Eye Black]

It seems like Aguilar is farther off the plate every at bat. Need to come through here.

[jason21nl]

Seriously. It seems Aggie is always behind in the count

[WinkelsasVsSoriano]

0-2, but fighting. Please come through.

[HarveysWBs]

Seriously. It seems Aggie is always behind in the count

Again, good pitches, most of which likely to be called strikes by a home plate ump who is practically polishing Kershaw's hall of fame bust behind the plate.

EDIT: Except strike three. That pitch was garbage.

The "what have you done for me lately?" crowd on here is disheartening. Yelich doing Yelich things for a month is the reason the Crew isn't working on their long irons in Florida, instead playing in the NLCS. He carried the team, and the team needs to pick up some of the slack. Sheesh...

[dlk9s]

At least Kershaw is throwing a lot of pitches.

[B-Train]

Pitch count is rising. Keep battling here boys.

[owbc]

Battling. That was a juicy curve though.

[yfinn6]

Was Tim Lincecum just on the phone in the Dodgers dugout?! Who the hell was that?

Agreed. I'm certainly disappointed some of our best guys haven't been too good, but I'm not upset with them. They're 100x more upset than I am.

That said, man, has Aguilar been bad. I mean, not even competitive.

[OldSchoolSnapper]

Planning future bathroom and snack breaks around Aguilar. That AB was fine, but his swing and misses could be looped GIFs.

We are making Kershaw work. If we can hold them off a little while longer things are looking good.

[ReverendBrewmeister]

Just too many opportunities going by the board in this series.

[82brewcrew82]

***sigh***

[owbc]

Sad. Overall a very positive inning though.
