I send him back out, bit his spot is due up 5th. So that complicates things.

If you let Knebel hit with the bases loaded in the 6th then JJ is up there hacking

I'm definitely using Hader for an inning.... we know what happens to rusty relievers. Jeffress for the 8th and Hader to close, please

What worries me about tomorrow is Roberts has Kershaw in his back pocket if he needs him for an inning or two.

Kershaw hasn't been that dominant against the Brewers though.

Were you not watching Wednesday?? If that wasn't dominant..

Did you see game 1? He is still an Ace, but not necessarily a Brewer-killer.

Gotta go with JJ for Turner and Machado anyway. If they turn it over to Hader for the rest that should be fine, then everybody would be available tomorrow anyway, although the big three would be used...

Fun drinking game every time Buck talks about Freese and the 2011 NLCS you take a shot.

No drinking game needed here. This series is enough to make one drink 3ba5c4a3d3cffe1120b14f1be6efbeb2.jpg

Score runs and save Hader for 3 tomorrow.

It would be amazing if they could save Hader for tomorrow. Hopefully it plays out to the point that they are afforded that luxury.

Not just “at Night” anymore.

I don't like it, with the 3 run lead, you have to rely on some guys that can get us by, and if trouble shows up, then use your big guns.

Maybe a guy like Soria can give us a clean inning, if not, then go to Burnes/Hader...

A fresh Hader and Burnes tomorrow sure would be beneficial.

I am glad Urias was able to pitch in this series, he is such a fun guy to watch and he is so young. Wish we had scored a few more runs off of him though.

I agree. I think Burnes makes a lot of sense here. Would you consider him one of the big guns?

Sheesh. I've gone from not wanting to see JJ to now thinking you gotta send him out for the 8th with 2 RHP to lead off. Get him thru 8 and use Soria or Burnes in 9th. Hader in pocket if needed, and if not, save Hader for tomorrow

Burnes could easily be warming up in case we score a run here. It is really hard to know what the thought process is at this point.

Yes, and I wouldn't use him unless we have to.
