Why is Jeffress continuing to just chew up garbage and low-leverage innings? Are we really sitting on far superior options like Alex Wilson that we can afford to just ease him back in?

Strongly agree. Do we actually have anyone better than Jeffress in the bullpen? Hader maybe. Anyone else?

Well, we've been told that Jeffress' return was going to be a disaster, so ...

Yeah no Bill, you were right the first time. It's pretty much just been one guy for the Brewers offense, not contributions from a lot of people.

It's been two guys, but Santana would look good at 3B right now.

The Brewers haven’t exactly had leads to protect in the late innings since he’s come back and got his couple of low leverage outings out of the way.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

It'll be interesting to see where Domingo ends up. Much of this is reactionary to a bad stretch. Time will tell.
"This is a very simple game. You throw the ball, you catch the ball, you hit the ball. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, sometimes it rains." Think about that for a while.

Ben Gamel has a .289 SLG% to go with his .314 OBP.

Why did we give up on Domingo Santana? Especially when Braun is a shell of his former self?

The Brewers tried to trade Santana for over a year. It was obvious that for whatever reason they didn't feel he was a fit for what they were trying to do.

Also, they traded him. They didn't give up on him. They got a quality 4th OF and a pitching prospect for him.

I really doubt Santana ends up being one that got away. He had a good start to the year but he is what he is. Anyone is the one that away when you're left with Mendoza performance levels but there was not a lot of opposition to trading him on multiple occasions. When he was hitting .160 in June he was the BF lightning rod.

So who do we play next, the Dodgers or the Cardinals?

Was last years schedule similar to this year? I dont feel like I remember playing the same team so often in a short stretch.

With this loss only the Marlins, Reds, Giants & Rockies will have a worse record than the Brew Crew in the NL

You are what your record says you are. The Reds are coming too.

Is Craig drunk? Why wouldn't you go go Yelich here?

Exactly what I was thinking

He got away with it, but surely no other reason than dumb luck.
